That's the first time I've seen a hater apologize for a hater comment they put on youtube. I don't know you BMovahed but thank you for trying to do something good. More haters need to apologize for their hate and cut down on it. Stopping hate altogether would be so nice to see.

FYI, Garden of Life makes a great tasting vitamin D3 spray (Amazon has it) with Lichen in it which is derived from mushrooms. Otherwise most vitamin D supplements contain cholecalciferol which is derived from Lanolin (sheep's wool) which would not be vegan. They also have a great tasting vegan vitamin B12 spray.
April Nagy love their Vit D spray!! I take it during the winter when we don't get as much sun exposure.... I've been wanting to try their B12 spray as well!
Garden of life was recently bought out by Nestle, so prepare to see their ingredients go to garbage!
With the D3 make sure you are also getting K2 :)
I made the transition to a vegan diet by incorporating at least one vegan meal a day for a few weeks, and once my body got really accustomed to eating mostly vegan throughout the day, I decided to make the change early! I've never felt better!

Thanks for the shopping & cooking demos. I've been vegan for 2 and a half years and this still was quite helpful, as I too find less fun in cooking. So simple :) also the omega fats happen to be found in fish, but they can be found in fruits, legumes, and nuts!

Any suggestions for poor digestion? Raw greens and veggies, legumes, grains leave me in a ton of pain and don't digest. I've tried everything (enzymes, hcl, Acv, you name it).
Veggie Bee look into food combining
You could also have issues with high FODMAP foods. Some fruits, vegetable and grains create a lot of gas when they are digested and can cause a lot of pain. Google FODMAPS diet... this will show you which foods are high and low in FODMAPs, which is an acronym for the chemical name of the part that causes gas in foods. For example, my vegan daughter can't eat dried fruit, most beans, broccoli family foods. And many really sweet fruit like mango are hard on her because as the sugar is broken down in digestion, it creates gas. However, she can eat papaya and bananas which are both sweet but low in FODMAPs. so it's really hard to predict which ones could be an issue and which are fine. But it certainly would be something easy to try. She had such a difficult 6 months until she started following the FODMAPS food list and now is sooooo much better.

sweetheart, you may have crohns disease. im not a doctor, but you may want to find that out.
I have crohns disease look up juice fasting. Still get all the nutrients without the fibre and bloating and pain. (Juicing NOT blending) :)

gianni the psychic no Veganism means much more than that! It means not supporting the exploitation of any animals whether it means wearing leather, eating animal products, it means not supporting animal exploitation in any way or form. Some people are only plant based not vegan.

Ritha Handayani then you can be vegan and he can eat feta cheese. After seeing you eating vegan for a while maybe he'll be more open to cutting out the cheese. Lead by example.

Hi! I'm watching this video a year after it was published. I'm currently a carnivore but some logical thinking and eco concerns are leading me to become vegan. I deeply admire the lifestyle and I believe the reason why most people still aren't vegan are purely based on commercial manipulation of the truth. I was researching how to begin, how should I balance my diet, how do I know when it's too much (cause I don't want to perpetuate my current "overweightedness"), how do I make it simple when I came across this video. I find the use of unknown fairy powders DEEEEEPLY discouraging. I don't even know that much about that lifestyle yet, but I believe it is possible to live without these *&¨%$ing supplements. I don't know how much you earn by advertising these powdery things, but I think you should know that it is discouraging... maybe even misleading. Please tell me I and anybody who wants to become vegan that we don't need that sh*t. I really think we don't.

One of the "barriers" to eating healthier for me is that I don't make a lot of money, so the initial investment of buying the stuff to make an 8 (!!!) ingredient smoothie seems hella daunting and like it is not meant for a beginner like me. I'd feel more comfortable with like 3-4 ingredients to start, then I could work my way up to more. Though I get you probably want the smoothie to be as healthy and tasty as possible to appeal to newbies. Just my two cents.

This video is so awesome! I went vegan for one month and had to stop because I was informed enough on the simple ingredients I needed to add to my diet to replace everything I was taking out. I definitely will be going vegan again but I'll be more prepared this time:)

I have a question. I'm craving for fruit everyday after dinner. Can I replace dinner with fruit? Is it ok to have high (natural) sugar before bed? I am afaid that it will make weight gain.

if we're outside for at least 30min a day then do we need to take VitD?
From what I read it takes 3 days for your body to absorb the vitamin D. If you live in a cold climate you should take it if you want.
girlgrace I read that we can only get the proper amount of vitamin D if we get 15-20 minutes of unprotected sun exposure on our mid section (torso) and only in locations which are closer to the sun so most people do end up having a vitamin D deficiency.
I have lived in Arizona for 35 yrs and was super low on vit. d. The doctor said you just don't get enough from the sun alone with or from food, which is a common misconception, and most people are low on it and don't know it because they haven't been tested. more doctors are including it now in routine blood work. I was having severe joint pain that got misdiagnosed as fibromyalgia and when I got my vitamin D up it completely went away

The thing I see is that you seem to be eating the same things all the time.There is no variety and that's why you have to take the vitamin supplements. This is not a critic at all it is just my thinking aloud. I myself try to eat as green as I can.Somehow I get the feeling that "totalitarian" diets are not the right thing.I love your vídeos by the way!!!!
