I remember the days when the 49ers were the one of the most dominant teams in the NFL. but after the loss against the Seahawks, they just didn't recover!!!!
It wasn't that at all. This was their 2nd N.F.C. Championship game in 2 years. It takes a lot out of an organization just to get there. Seattle has regressed each year too. They aren't nearly as good now as they were then.
As a Seahawks fan. Niners fans. It's extremely unfortunate what happened to SF. We were there when Seneca Wallace,T-Jack and Charlie Whitehurst there when Hasselbeck was barring back injuries from '08-'10. I know we weren't a good team. SF won the West in '11 and was bringing back the West as Seattle overtook SF like what they did to 'The greatest show on turf' when Kurt Warner, Isaac Bruce, Tory Holt and Marshall Faulk were making the West almost untouchable. Eventhough, Seattle wasn't in the NFC West when the Rams beat the Titans in '00. SF was still a lethal threat. I honestly miss this rivalry between our teams. Not bashing SF,cause we there, too. We were also going through a qb carousel. The rivalry between SF AND Seattle will hopefully return again. SF made Seattle to a great team. It was a tough fight and please don't throw us Seahawks fans into ONE basket. We do exist like how SF fans exist when Nolan was the Niners coach. This was a great game in the BEST division. It's really sad to see where SF is ... NOW.
Jordan Tacey Hopefully, so. We were there, bro. We had four consecutive losing seasons from '08-'11. Rams need to take it up a notch. Division was skin tight between Seattle and SF at one point. We were 4-12 in '08 and 5-11 in '09 when the Cardinals fans were relevant with Kurt Warner. '10 was a joke as we were called the NFC Weak.
Marc Amico i remember that too. Everyone has craptastic years. Tbh we might be 2-13 but the Rams are worse than we are. Idk if you noticed but we've been in every game in the first half then we fall apart in the second. But the rivalry will be better next year or the year after.
I’m an Eagles fan but I would always make sure I tune in to watch this Generational Defense and Legendary Crowd. So many alphas on one team with their own element. That's sick. If I could go to one seahawks game it would definetly be the 2013 nfc championship. Just me watching this right now is getting me hyped up.
man this seattle defense was something special. aggressive, fast, and loaded with swagger. you best believe all 11 helmets were balls to the wall every play. glad they were able to get at least ONE chip to prove it.
I'm a Seahawks fan and I'll admit we got a few lucky breaks this game. I still think we deserved to win but That reset playclock and roughing the punter called in the 5 yard variety helped us along for sure.
WOW!! i know this game was a few years ago but I still get chills as if it was played today...classic game for the ages...Legion of Boom..Kaepernick...Richard Sherman 🔥🔥
That moment when Navorro Bowman recovers the fumble, tears his ACL and still holds on to the football but the 12th man gives the ball back to the Seahawks
So many unnecessary flags against the 49ers, and some that weren't even called on. What even makes me mad about this game was when Navarro Bowman was carried to the locker room on the cart and some Seattle fans though it would be funny to throw food at him. I found this very disrespectful.
Rick Gutierrez Harbaugh couldn't contain his khaki colored chubby for Fumblepick's arm strength and speed, even though Alex was VASTLY superior in every other category. Jim would still be in the NFL with a ring or two if he had only stuck with Alex.
49ers: Smith, Brooks, Bowman, Willis and Eric Reid. Seahawls: Irvin, Wagner, Sherman, Chancellor and Earl Thomas. These defenses were INSANE and the Offense ran by Wilson and Lynch vs Kapernick and Gore plus the constant rivalry between Carroll and Harbaugh.
I was staying in the Hospital In Tupelo MS, While my mom was in Intensive care, watching this game from the Family Waiting Room Kitchen with the other Family members, Who was visiting there Sick Loved ones..... This was Such a Great Game to watch.
As A 49er Fan Taking A Look Back At This Game On The Last Pass He Threw With 33 Seconds Left In The 4th Quarter To Crabtree Kaepernick Didn’t Even Look To His Left Vernon Davis Was Open , Quinton Patton Was Open And Anquan Boldin Was Open All On The Left Side Of The Field But Threw It On Sherman Side .........
Broncos had the best offense in the league that season. I don't think it would have been that easy. I also think they were favored against Seattle. What happened next was a shocker
Kyle Adrien If, by using the term ‘shocker’, you mean that the Seahawks gave Manning two in the pink and one in the stink, then, yes, it was quite the shocker.
I think any team in the NFC West could have dismantled the Broncos that year in the SB, and that even includes the Jeff Fischer led Rams. That division had the most physical defenses that probably could've matched well against the Broncos. Also no doubt the Saints that year would've also creamed the Broncos. They had the 2nd highest scoring offense and the 4th best defense that year.
Many don't remember that Seattle gave Denver an ass kicking that same season in the pre-season. They didn't adjust. And the Bronco schedule never included playing a team with a defense like Seattle or the 49ers.
Folks really acting like Denver was a slouch. Smh. Give Seattle credit they shut down an amazing offense. The talk should be about how special Seattle played in that Superbowl.
Seattle’s defense was fantastic. They saved them so many times it was unbelievable. In this game and the following year against GB. What Brady was able to do against them after being behind by 10 points in the SB was amazing.
one of the greatest playoffs game ever. as a 49ers fan, it's still heartbreaking to watch, but what a game it was. the td saving tackle that kam chancellor made on colin after his 50 plus yard run was imo the most important play cause the niners lost IUPATI in the td play later on this drive and with him in the game maybe the game would have looked different
Christian it was a much closer game than I anticipated it to be. Bad coaching in the last play. Should have taken the to imo instead of running a quick no huddle play. Bad coaching cost the niners the superbowl a year before that and this game too

This was when Seattle had a decent O Line.
I miss Unger, Carpenter, Okung, and Sweezy.
JoseRicoTacoNacho QuesedillaMandillaJones. same
JoseRicoTacoNacho QuesedillaMandillaJones me to
Wilson was sacked the first play of the game...lol
The RUclips Guy 2016 Okung, Sweezy, and Carpenter left on their own free will.
Remember watching this game. This was probably the peak of the Seahawks 49ers rivalry
Kaepernick was sooo good. Early dropped balls by his receivers, no help from gore or the running game in general, up against the best pass defense in history, no iupati and this dude damn near pulled it off. He provided the passing yards and the rushing yards. It was literally kaepernick vs the Seahawks.
Good.? He threw terrible interceptions on the last two drives. He had great receivers and no excuses. There was a reason he got benched later in his career.
@@IndependentThinker74 lol sure buddy. He had Crabtree and an old boldin. Nobody was getting open. Seattle had the greatest secondary ever. Lots of QBs got benched at one point and went on to have decent careers.
@@halea41 Kap was like 2-19 in his last 21 starts. STFU.
@@WGWF1022 More wins than u
Fck him we should kept Alex smith or traded kapernick
Anytime i feel sad in my life I rewatch this game.
Lynch
Kearse
Thomas
Bennett
Sherman
Wagner
Thurmond
Haushka
Ryan
Chancellor
Avril
Wright
And Wilson at his Prime
It's like reliving when I got the Star Wars Millennium Falcon for my action figures on my favorite Christmas day.
Hawks fan here and not a Kaep fan but that run and Joes call at 31:10 always gives me chills.
This was the best rivalry in the NFL for a couple years. It's a shame it fell off but this was a hell of a battle.
Facts. The NFC version of Ravens vs Steelers
The battle for the top in nfc west this year was 🔥
If I had to choose Bears/Packers, Ravens/Steelers, Cowboys/Eagles or 49ers/Seahawks back then...definitely 49ers-Seahawks.
@@jlking8724 facts
I remember the days when the 49ers were the one of the most dominant teams in the NFL. but after the loss against the Seahawks, they just didn't recover!!!!
Alberto Vargas que chingue su madre el América :v
Yeah, their entire team was basically piecemealed out after that season to other teams and retirement.
In many ways, this was when the two teams went in opposite directions.
It wasn't that at all. This was their 2nd N.F.C. Championship game in 2 years. It takes a lot out of an organization just to get there. Seattle has regressed each year too. They aren't nearly as good now as they were then.
Caleb Martinez Same thing with the 49ers. 2-14?!?!? WTH happened to us?!?!?!?!
This game was the true Superbowl of 2013, good hard fought game for both teams.
NOW.
The 9ers will be back in 2017 or 2018. Predicting 2018. The 49ers have 13 starters injured. Next year 7-9, year after 11-5
Jordan Tacey Hopefully, so.
Jordan Tacey Yep. Dolphins? We lost 3 straight in the state of Florida from '08.
Marc Amico we've lost to ya'll 6 straight times
probably the best nfl game ever
Amen
I’m an Eagles fan but I would always make sure I tune in to watch this Generational Defense and Legendary Crowd. So many alphas on one team with their own element.
Earl flying around
Kam tone setting
Sherman’s swag
Michael Bennett’s trash talking
Wagner’a consistency
Marshawn was the heart of the team
Sitting in section 123 in that southern endzone. Never in my life have I hugged strangers that hard before lol.
😂🤣😭🤧
That's sick. If I could go to one seahawks game it would definetly be the 2013 nfc championship. Just me watching this right now is getting me hyped up.
🤣🤣
I get it...but, are you THE Alex Smith??? Do you remember my wife? Jus kiddin.
Lol
Classic game and still fun to watch
man this seattle defense was something special. aggressive, fast, and loaded with swagger. you best believe all 11 helmets were balls to the wall every play. glad they were able to get at least ONE chip to prove it.
The beginning of the downfall of the 9ers
E Logic yep harbargh was ousted after this
E Logic and the beginning of the bandwagon migration to Seattle
+Blaine Gabbart You think you're gonna pick up fans going 2-13? LOL I wouldnt turn on your TV today, gonna be ugly
Kyle Hikalea a week later and the hawks almost lost
Niner Dawg Yea, and you almost didnt go 2-14
THIS was the SB that year.
Lol I've been binging Seahawks games for quarantine, loved this game
I'm a Seahawks fan and I'll admit we got a few lucky breaks this game. I still think we deserved to win but That reset playclock and roughing the punter called in the 5 yard variety helped us along for sure.
this is the game that killed the 49ers
how are u guys not mad that you guys got screwed by the refs in every way possible?
the refs did or rather whatever gamblers paid them to rig this game against the niners
LAMOOOW Facts clear robbery. They got robbed twice but this one was the worst.
@@cllcccic8270 Same with the superbowl last season! We could have easily beat the Chiefs. Could NOT beat the refs.
@Issac Johnson It’s okay that you’re wrong lol
The NFL is the real hero for making these great games free to rewatch forever!
WOW!! i know this game was a few years ago but I still get chills as if it was played today...classic game for the ages...Legion of Boom..Kaepernick...Richard Sherman 🔥🔥
There will never be a rivalry quite like this one again in the NFL. Miss watching it
Happy 10th anniversary to this glorious game!
Go Seahawks! 💚💙
That moment when Navorro Bowman recovers the fumble, tears his ACL and still holds on to the football but the 12th man gives the ball back to the Seahawks
Marc Amico still was our ball wtf that doesn't make up
JMerlan Seahawks got gifted the ball by the refs
"Non- reviewable" my ass
JMerlan the refs gave this game to seattle
they didnt score on that drive either way, they got stopped on 4th down.
yeah shows how rigged it was
So many unnecessary flags against the 49ers, and some that weren't even called on. What even makes me mad about this game was when Navarro Bowman was carried to the locker room on the cart and some Seattle fans though it would be funny to throw food at him. I found this very disrespectful.
Amit Sharma ya the fans are a bunch of bandwagon no class cocksuckers
Amit Sharma as a Hawks fan if they did throw food at him that is jacked
Amit Sharma sorry another Seahawks fan bumped into me and I spilt my popcorn on him I apologize
@@cdc8699 lol
Damon snacks Harrison someone sounds like they need a nap.
I was at this game and Sherman’s tip to Malcom Smith was in my Endzone. I will never forget this night.
remember when the 49ers were playoff contenders? pepperidge farm remembers
Rick Gutierrez taha but pepperidge farm ain't gonna keep it to its self free of charge
Rick Gutierrez Harbaugh couldn't contain his khaki colored chubby for Fumblepick's arm strength and speed, even though Alex was VASTLY superior in every other category. Jim would still be in the NFL with a ring or two if he had only stuck with Alex.
lmao harbaugh was trash your d carried you crapernick n smith are mediocre at best
You watching them now 2019
Lilslim 650 y’all lost lol
As a 49ers fan I keep rewatching this game and think we should have won this
I'm an Eagles fan but I loved this brief rivalry these teams had. Great football. Always tuned into their games
Teams in the same division always have rivalries Seahawks and 49ers still have a rivalry this also coming from an eagles fan who hates the cowboys
I'm a seahawks fan and 49ers deserve more justice during this game.
Raiders low key stole all the niners' good players
Shaz Widhani y'all didn't steal, we just gave em away
Shaz Widhani High key. Wouldnt be surprised if they gave us Bowman
Shaz Widhani and seahawks
Crabtree is still a "sorry receiver "
they also took seahawk linebackers Irvin and Smith
49ers: Smith, Brooks, Bowman, Willis and Eric Reid.
Seahawls: Irvin, Wagner, Sherman, Chancellor and Earl Thomas.
These defenses were INSANE and the Offense ran by Wilson and Lynch vs Kapernick and Gore plus the constant rivalry between Carroll and Harbaugh.
I remember watching this game, man, that was 2013's real Super Bowl! Those were the days! 😮
RIP Paul Allen. Never seen an owner as good hearted as he was.
I was staying in the Hospital In Tupelo MS, While my mom was in Intensive care, watching this game from the Family Waiting Room Kitchen with the other Family members, Who was visiting there Sick Loved ones..... This was Such a Great Game to watch.
Jim harbaugh and Pete Carroll not liking each other was what made this rivalry most watched and interesting
I miss this Seahawks team so much
Who still comes to watch this because this was one badass game and rivalry ? 🔥🔥
Who's here after the Niners clinched the division and the #1 seed with that clutch
Ha yeah the Zebras played their hearts out.
Chantalan Martinez niner gang baby
As A 49er Fan Taking A Look Back At This Game On The Last Pass He Threw With 33 Seconds Left In The 4th Quarter To Crabtree Kaepernick Didn’t Even Look To His Left Vernon Davis Was Open , Quinton Patton Was Open And Anquan Boldin Was Open All On The Left Side Of The Field But Threw It On Sherman Side .........
Yup me
Im here preparing for Superbowl 54 !!
This was the real super bowl
49ers would've also beat the Broncos. Saints might've too. NFC was way better than the AFC that year.
This was Ravens vs. Steelers of the West. Such a great rivalry between two teams who mirrored each other.
As a 49er fan I just came here to relive the pain of this game smh we were so close
Starbucks forever!!
Fkn Crapernick left open receivers all day long. Made me sick
You tried sherman tho
You was close in the 1990 NFC Championship Game to 😅
So what's your point Lol
Happy 10th anniversary to the 2013 NFC championship.
I miss when the niners where good 😭 #NinerNation
NAME ! same 😭
lewis fraile the rivalry was sooo good it's sad/boring to watch the hawks beat them all year round now
Stay faithful homie we'll be back one day
eviltwinnumber2 ik
Alberto Padilla yup we be the best team NFL again
Did you see that jump pass from. Kap unbelievable his greatness
this is the game that melted his brain. he was never the same after this game, easily triggered.
How it started for Seattle and how it ended are wildly different. Such an amazing game.
Even though we lost , best nfc champ game ever
You must be young. '81 and '90 were better.
@@IndependentThinker74 lol yea maybe
Boys, this could be the nfc championship for 2019😆
Seattle’s defense was fantastic. They saved them so many times it was unbelievable. In this game and the following year against GB. What Brady was able to do against them after being behind by 10 points in the SB was amazing.
....after like half the defense was out with injuries lol
RIP Paul Allen :[
one of the greatest playoffs game ever. as a 49ers fan, it's still heartbreaking to watch, but what a game it was. the td saving tackle that kam chancellor made on colin after his 50 plus yard run was imo the most important play cause the niners lost IUPATI in the td play later on this drive and with him in the game maybe the game would have looked different
Motti Yossian this was the Super Bowl that year. As a hawks fan we were nervous about your power house niners winning in our house
Christian it was a much closer game than I anticipated it to be. Bad coaching in the last play. Should have taken the to imo instead of running a quick no huddle play. Bad coaching cost the niners the superbowl a year before that and this game too
I hear you. Life long hawks fan and the next years superbowl absolutely broke my heart.
Oh my god the feels. Go Hawks man. This game makes me so emotional
This was my favorite rivalry. The Rams and Seahawks have always had a big rivalry, but there was never that hatred both fan bases had for each other lol
Niners had an amazing defense back then
This game was one of the best in years. Both teams played out of their minds!
ruclips.net/video/jvN_JCIk6o0/видео.html
This still gives me chills watching this! 💚💙
Back when the Seahawks started to gain some fans.
Build Legacy so funny
Build Legacy Kinda like when Green Bay beat New England in '97????
Marc Amico no
Tyron Wells I guess, you missed out on our current rivalry since Holmgren and Hasselbeck. Hey,remember when Seattle lost vs Packers (twice in the post-season?). I do. Do you?
Marc Amico I remember when Seahawks came back and beat the packers in nfc championship or when hasselbeck said we are gonna score and threw a pick 6
Still remember both teams won eachother during the season and then met again in this epic legendary game , wish my niners won but this game and rivalry was so entertaining
Legend has it all the 49ers fans still cry about officiating till this day every time Seattle beats em. They can't handle losing.
