OMG, Right on Point TaZlyy. BTW Jerry, every time you are playing down to the last seconds without taking or breathing....we all stop eating and breathing with you. lol
Gotta hand it to Jerry, no matter how obvious JustPatzer made it that he was cheating, Jerry didn't let it get to him at all. Lots of respect man, keep up the good work :D
2:56:58 is where justpatzer gets kicked out and everyone's scores are adjusted. Actual tournament was much closer. Great upload Jerry! Keep up the good work and this 3hrs makes up for a upload drought. I save the long ones for times like these.
"Every King move I made, that player knew exactly where I'd be? Wow. That player should withdraw and play the lottery...' They don't call him Subtle Jerry for nothing. Well, they don't call him Subtle Jerry, but they should. They should.
I long for the days when i was not yet up to date on Jerry's videos. I haven't had three hours of new material to binge in quite a while... Thanks for posting!
This gotta be one of Jerry's strongest tournament. Surpassing Ferrari's speed. Not to mention outplaying the top dogs many times. You reminded me of Kasparov v Karpov in their WCC encounter where kasparov loses a number of games before he fought back in the last remaining games. You sir, have a tremendous amount of stamina and endurance. To play for 3 hours+ bullet requires consistency, accuracy and skills. Good Tournament Jerry! What a comeback.
When I watch you play I wonder on what a level GM's must be if you are only NM. You're amazing Jerry, I've really improved since I started watching your videos. Keep up the great content!
It's rare I see something CN misses, but I saw like 3 big misses in the course of about 5 minutes. It was about 2 hours in though, so understandably the fatigue may have been setting in. 2:01:51 --- Isn't that a free rook on e8? 2:06:29 --- The lower rook was free because the king was also on it. He goes up the exchange when he could go up a rook. 2:07:19 --- He allows the possibility of a pawn push blocking his king out. (Doesn't really matter due to time)
I like how he calls zeros goose eggs. Obviously, it's just a pleasantly colorful metaphor, but also a goose egg, as in the lumps one gets when one hits ones head, is a mistake which one should learn from just like the zeros, being losses, are mistakes (or a series of mistakes), one should also learn from.
OOoooooooh snap, thanks so much for this video Jerry!!! So much fun + most of the games were with very strong opponents. "This is the guy! I feel like I need to checkmate him twice... in this game!"
He means at 25:56, before Jerry moved his Bishop to D3 the rook on d8 could be taken. I don't think Jerry saw it and he was mainly responding to the queen hitting his Bishop at that moment.
there are programs that do it all, you don't even have to move the pieces. it's pointless and stupid but i guess these people get something out of it. some sick satisfaction.
Jerry help!! my rating in standard chess is 1800+ and i even beat players close to 2000 sometimes... but in short time controls like bullet, i cant seem to get my rating above 1500 for some reason and beating 1650+ players seems impossible, but on standard i beat anyone near that rating easily. I don't understand why that is! :(
You're doing the right thing. Standard is best for improvement. Crawl..walk..jog..run. Speed will improve in time, and becoming a more efficient thinker in longer games will help.
you are likely to have much lower rating at the bullet. my standard rating is 2000 but bullet bellow 1200. my blitz is around 1500. the faster it gets the tougher it is
I love your videos on 1.5x speed more lol. Btw my rating was around 1300 when i started watching your videos and now my rating is around 1700. Your videos gave me some decent chess logic. I never studied chess and i guess i will never do it. But i enjoy playing it so far.
Are names like “pigs” and “beast” for hyper aggressive pieces your own Jerry - or part of some great tradition since my time of stuff shirt traditionalists? Also: have you ever played 10 x 10 Grand Chess - you know, with Chancellor and General?
cptnoremac he meant a passed pawn. A passed pawn is a pawn that is not opposed by an enemy pawn, and is not on an adjacent file to any enemy pawns. Passed pawns are very valuable because they are much easier to promote
I always eat while watching Jerry play... today I run out of food, Nice Video
Nice! :D
you're making us all fat, jerry!
OMG, Right on Point TaZlyy. BTW Jerry, every time you are playing down to the last seconds without taking or breathing....we all stop eating and breathing with you. lol
Good to know! :D
adrian5b I AM. OT FAT AND I WILLL NEVER BE FAT
Gotta hand it to Jerry, no matter how obvious JustPatzer made it that he was cheating, Jerry didn't let it get to him at all. Lots of respect man, keep up the good work :D

KingsKrusher played, lost first three and withdrew :D 3:02:50
2:56:58 is where justpatzer gets kicked out and everyone's scores are adjusted. Actual tournament was much closer. Great upload Jerry! Keep up the good work and this 3hrs makes up for a upload drought. I save the long ones for times like these.
41:02 you can hear him say ch...67 is top, lol
Good catch!
Fantastic! The best chess youtuber proves it over 3hrs!! Awesome.
I always consider Jerry pretty much invincible, but it sure is amazing to see the talent out there.
I think I’ve seen this video like 4 times! Jerry, we need more material please ❤️👏👌
"Every King move I made, that player knew exactly where I'd be? Wow. That player should withdraw and play the lottery...'
They don't call him Subtle Jerry for nothing. Well, they don't call him Subtle Jerry, but they should. They should.
MrOttopants what was his name?
Thanks for uploading this! I missed the first 20 minutes because I was late and 1:30 through 2:45 because I fell asleep.
Jerry is a jedi, if you strike him down his rematch will be more powerful than you could possibly imagine.
54:50 "Unbelievably bold player here." What did you expect, from a player called "fluffykat?"
47:05 "run Barry run" I love you for that reference xD
I long for the days when i was not yet up to date on Jerry's videos. I haven't had three hours of new material to binge in quite a while... Thanks for posting!
1:25:50 "Four fives" which in reality is Five fours. Mouth slip, get it?
+
DaAm4t3urist they r the sane
notPranipus they both equal 20 so maybe it's not a mouth slip
WOO I DID IT! ^_^
Took me seven days, but I have arrived at the 3:03:57 promise-land haha ggs!
3 hours is an absolute good! Good stuff, Jerry! Thanks!
Jerry.. your resilenice against cheaters is inspiring.. love all your videos bud!
Thanks Jerry. The more speed tournaments you post the greater your fan base. : )
1:04:00 if anybody wants to see 10 premoved checks in a row :D
+Nayrisian was he cheater?
Thanks I was going crazy looking for it :)
It just goes to show that Jerry can play as well as any computer out there.
This gotta be one of Jerry's strongest tournament. Surpassing Ferrari's speed. Not to mention outplaying the top dogs many times. Thank you ChessNetwork! For making my day awesome
When I watch you play I wonder on what a level GM's must be if you are only NM. You're amazing Jerry, I've really improved since I started watching your videos. Keep up the great content!
He's not "only" NM because he's not good enough for a higher title. He's just not interested in going for them. He's easily at IM level, at least.
Thanks for the wonderful tournament! You should play these 3 hour bullet tournaments every day : ).
Only person on yt that i can watch for 3 hours straight and have fun
It's rare I see something CN misses, but I saw like 3 big misses in the course of about 5 minutes. It was about 2 hours in though, so understandably the fatigue may have been setting in.

I love it when Jerry says "what did I do to deserve this" always makes me laugh
I like how he calls zeros goose eggs. Obviously, it's just a pleasantly colorful metaphor, but also a goose egg, as in the lumps one gets when one hits ones head, is a mistake which one should learn from just like the zeros, being losses, are mistakes (or a series of mistakes), one should also learn from.
There's a twist ending to this one! A M (K)Night Shyamalan type twist ;)
Wow, 3 hours playing rapids! What an amazing endurance, grats on the podium Jerry :)
Not long enough.. Should be at least 7-9 hours.
"This is the new seventh" only chess players would get that phrase.
OOoooooooh snap, thanks so much for this video Jerry!!!
So much fun + most of the games were with very strong opponents.
"This is the guy! I feel like I need to checkmate him twice... in this game!"
at 26:01 was that a free rook? i know that it is bullet just wondering if i was missing something
which one? doesnt seem free to me
Rxd8 if Rxd8 Qxd8 but maybe instead of Rxd8 there was g5 blocking the h4-d8.
He means at 25:56, before Jerry moved his Bishop to D3 the rook on d8 could be taken. I don't think Jerry saw it and he was mainly responding to the queen hitting his Bishop at that moment.
Wow, I really enjoyed this video!! What a fantastic surprise ending :-) Well done!
Awesome video! Was great to see you battle strong opponents.
Don't know how you can keep going so long. I needed to take breaks while watching :P
"This guy again? Beast! He's a beast!" - Jerry
"This guy again? Beast! He's a beast!" - The other guy
lol
justpatzer gets banned for cheating
But you won highest performance rating! Always a pleasure
I so much enjoy and learn from your comments Jerry, 1000 thanks
What a treat! Basically a movie. Good tourney
Reaching autoplay limits on old chess network videos feels good
nice match mate and i watched the whole thing over a few days lol. Funny thing is you were in 3rd the last match you had the celebration coming lol
and just when we least expected it, with an hour left in the tournament, Jerry plays another game!
Very good games in there! impressive to be playing all this while against these strong players jerry!
Yay you uploaded it !! So happy! Your best stream btw!!
2:25:31 of all sad losses the saddest. Jerry was so dominant that game the whole time
Jerry you're my hero. Your chess is so accurate.
2:58:54 xD
xD
At 1:25:53 , 4 fives?
Excellent video! So many nailbiters. GGs
2:23:10 or something they didn't resign it was checkmate
Great. I really enjoyed this and watched the whole thing. Thanks. Very fast.
hahaha very nice jerry, congrats.. I love confeti land.. I want to live there when I grow up.
54:17 you missed Bxf7+ or Ne5 for sneaky mate.
1:33:50 I don't think I have ever been happier to see the appearance of an old nemesis! ;-P 1:59:04 I think he's going to keep going...
Eating pizza while watching this, maybe not everyones primary choice to watch while eating pizza but I love it! :D
That's sad. I was kinda rooting for Patzer. For him to have reached such a rating with such shady tactics.
That was a real cliffhanger. Great fun!
3 hours tournament is amazing!!! So much fun and stress. :)
What happened to JustPatzer? (2:57:00)
He got banned for cheating! If you search his profile on lichess it says"This account is closed."
+A Psychopath who thinks he's a Prophet Loool how do you cheat with only 1 minute on the clock?
You cant just guess every move your opponent make...He probably used some kind of application or something...
there are programs that do it all, you don't even have to move the pieces. it's pointless and stupid but i guess these people get something out of it. some sick satisfaction.
Take a look at your standard games vs bullet games ... Are you missing tactics? Playing too slow? Those are likely reasons
You're doing the right thing. Standard is best for improvement. Crawl..walk..jog..run. Speed will improve in time, and becoming a more efficient thinker in longer games will help.
you are likely to have much lower rating at the bullet. my standard rating is 2000 but bullet bellow 1200. my blitz is around 1500. the faster it gets the tougher it is
KARTIKEYA007 I usually play 5 5 because I suck at fast speeds sometimes 3 5 is alright
I love your videos on 1.5x speed more lol. Btw my rating was around 1300 when i started watching your videos and now my rating is around 1700. Your videos gave me some decent chess logic. I never studied chess and i guess i will never do it. But i enjoy playing it so far.
1:04:00 How the hell is this guy doing that is he psychic?😂😂😂Poor Jerry
1:54:25 missed mate in 1?
very fun video to watch throughout the day
wow, nice stamina
Oooh, awesome ending! Got that confetti ;)
Jerry curious what kind of computer do you use? PC or Mac?
I love your commenting so much. I'm not a very good player and I find your insights very instructional.
Endurance Machine! Not to mention a bathroom break and still making it to the podium.
Jerry why are you so afraid of knights?
Because they are tricky and always fork him. You have to be very cautious of tricky Knights.
but its very easy to avoid knight forks, I gotta say though that in bullets they're pretty much always gonna land a blow
Jerry on 2:06:31 you could have taken rook on d6 instead of taking d2and keeping your knight or taking 2 rooks. Just saying. It's just to fast to see.
Are names like “pigs” and “beast” for hyper aggressive pieces your own Jerry - or part of some great tradition since my time of stuff shirt traditionalists?
Also: have you ever played 10 x 10 Grand Chess - you know, with Chancellor and General?
Great job, Jerry!
1e4 e6
2Nc3 d5
3Nf3 d4
4Ne2 c5
5c3 is better than Ng3 ;) on d3 you have Nf4-c4-Qa4 +- ;)
Nice video. You're awesome chess player and comentator :(
Dayyum 3 hours what a beast
Hey on 35min 40 secs you could have taken the knight having a past pawn
What's a past pawn? A queen that was once a pawn in the past?
cptnoremac he meant a passed pawn. A passed pawn is a pawn that is not opposed by an enemy pawn, and is not on an adjacent file to any enemy pawns. Passed pawns are very valuable because they are much easier to promote
Watch the whole three hours over the course of the week. It was a good week.
JustPatzer the guessing machine was banned from lichess.... big surprise
who remembered the time of the clowngame?
lol 14:00 talking about how you lost that game... you were momentarily distracted and lost the bishop!
I don't have enough coffee for this one....
Great video!
What means Title "LM" stands for?
Lichess master
3 hour? I watched like a movie :)
Thanks Erkan. :D
same i was eating pop corn
54:05 How many players are in this one? A fluffy cat.
1:01:52 the game against the cheate8
3 hours! Whoa.
That one guy's name is pronounced not as puhOvik, but as puhovIk. Ir roughly means "bedding out of fluff" in Russian.
i love the sneakiness
Super entertaining!
@ 2:32:36 you trapped your bishop and he resigned lmao.
Hi Jerry, everyone.
What's the joke with mouse?
I see it all over the comments, but didn't catch in videos.
There's a video, when he's mouse goes out of power in the middle of the game. :D
Believe it was part 2 of the spring marathon tournament.
Wheeew, whatched it all
white missed checkmate at 2:46:36
white had to get out of check though
2:35:35 Rxa5!! then Kxc4!!
Jerry is an absolute beast!
Thanks for this video
Your brains are on steroids XD
I wanted to see ferrari playing this one.
He did play. Jerry played him once
1:00:33 / 3:03:57
