like usual, you made excellent reviews ! I have got mine last xeek and i find this plane is really great. waiting Luca for tomorrow and hope enjoy too :D
I think there's also an option pack for Luca's fighter. It includes some missile pods, and amazingly enough they attach to both the VF and to the Ghosts.
I believe they are doing some minor retooling for the VF-25S that will come with the Armor Parts in June. I know they're giving it a neck, not sure if anything else is getting updated.
They are constructed in the same way, with the same materials, it's just the head, colour and the VF-25G gets a sniper rifle... I'll do a popper group shot in the RVF-25 review, but that won't be for a while. The 11 minute limit is a pain as I can't include the detail I'd like sometimes.
None in particular they're just so delicate and I didn't put down a clear coat so it's a bit harder to move them around. I still have to do the one on the back and two side ones; then a topcoat semi-gloss.
If you look at the part circled in blue you can see some of the internal hip joint as the pin was stopping the plastic from sitting flush. The pin wasn't fully pushed into the the hip joint, so I had to push it in.
@dalesolo82 Depends on which version of Alto's VF-25F you buy as there's 3. The original release didn't have any packs. There's the movie pack that has the FAST parts. Then Bandai released the VF-25F Tornado pack which is another movie version. The Anime FAST was a limited release to go with the original release of the toy, this could be both hard to find and pricey.
I really love Sniper characters, I really do. Sadly, since I already bought the VF-25F, I just can't bare to part with that much cash for another Valk. This review really makes me wish that I waited and got this one instead. That being said, I'm definitely going to get the 1/100 of the VF-25G. Hope that doesn't disappoint.
Nice plug-in of the Ranka sparkle =p. Did you actually draw her? Also, of all the 1/60 VF-25's, I think Michel is my favorite. That being said though, I probably won't buy any of the 1/60s unfortunately. If Bandai ever does get around to making something akin to the version 2 Yamatos in the future, I'll most likely buy. But for now, I'll stick with the 1/72s. By the way, how is your VF-25S kit coming along?
I like your style :P Did the rest of the -25 line get the fast pack +stand treatment or only the Machael custom? Also did they release a bullet magnet brown one yet?
I kept the link it's at hlj / product / GNZB-502 add the com stuff If depends on much you put on. But you're not meant to spray the joints only the surface of the model.
NICE! MACROSS PIECE! well on the first song you played. What title its from and what series id it crome from please let me know . I order vocal collection CD's thats expensive
Oh man. I am so confused now Wizartar. Do you have to put this model together and paint it along with all the decals, or does it come out of the box like that?
Luca + Michael come with Fast Pack. Alto & Ozma are available to purchase separately. But I won't be getting them. As for BMB no not yet, Bandai isn't quite ready to milk the Vf-25 line just yet.
Depends on the type you get there's Gloss, Semi-Gloss and matte or flat I think not sure what the last one is called. That's basically no gloss. Gloss = Shiny Flat = no shiny
I'm not sure off all the legal stuff, a very simplistic version is.. The Macross line can't be distrbuted in USA, not sure about Europe, becuase Robotech owns the distrubtion licence. So if Bandai wanted to release it in the US they have to pay the Robotech license holders money. But that doesn't stop people from importing it directly from Japan.
Decals are evil, is all I'm going to say. I've got it about 97% done. Am waiting for the release of the VF-25S Armoured Parts 1/60 scale DX will do a bit of a Macross F marathon the. That should have been released in July but is now due this month... I hope.
@warhawkfan1234 There are 3 type 1/100, aka VF100 VF25, these are nice if you can get it at a good price. 1/72, this is a Model Kit and you build it yourself. Great fun if you like building model planes. 1/60, DX As see in this review. A Toy,
@Wizartar Hmm... When you put it like that, it makes me feel akward. But yes. I think I'd be best off with the toy. I am currently constructing a 1/72 SR-71 Blackbird. I just bought the paints and the stuff for putting the decals on. Yeah, I will probably go with the toy. I can't imagine constructing a model that transforms. Dear lord. I almost ordered that one too xD
I would say Michel's VF-25 is my favorite out of the bunch as well, and I think that blue is just beautiful.
great review,
these are some pretty damn fine models. wish my brother was still into these, he would love them !!!
graham
great video as usual!!

Gotta love the sniper variant VFs.

I like the Blue the most to, the others are nice but this one really stands out.
Auugh I wish I hadn't had to cancel my pre-order on this. The blue is so pretty.
SO BEAUTIFUL!! It looks a world better when you review it. Gosh!! *Droll* @.@
cant wait for the RVF-25 review ... and the 3 screen shot of the three. so far i think the blue is much cooler than the VF-25S

clear gloss paint, used to protect paint or to cover decal. Well it's a bit of both really. It's a protective finishing, stop paint & decal damage.
Amazing review,thank you !
The spike was used to attach to a rock in something floating that's but and could be used to steady the shot
Yes I did actually draw her.
VF-25S is still in the works. I get distracted easily and just have to do the decal work.

By the way, how is your VF-25S kit coming along?
True, but at least they're available as extras.
I'd say any well stocked Hobby shop should have some as it's standard practice for those who build models. I got it in spraycan form.
I like your style :P Did the rest of the -25 line get the fast pack +stand treatment or only the Machael custom?
Also did they release a bullet magnet brown one yet?

OMG! u have all three of them. i be happy if i have one of them.
just thinking... what the hell is the purpose of that spike in the sniper rifle????
NICE! MACROSS PIECE! well on the first song you played. What title its from and what series id it crome from please let me know . I order vocal collection CD's thats expensive
Yes it's available at HLJ and that's where I got my can
Can you review the Lucifer Berna Stufe custom?
now i know, what im going to buy =) hehehe... nice review video =)
Oh man. I am so confused now Wizartar. Do you have to put this model together and paint it along with all the decals, or does it come out of the box like that?
Yes, the HF100 version with 8GB mem-card gives me about 60 minutes at max quality.
I only hope that they make a remake of these all fixed up.. I was going to order this one but not anymore.. great review nontheless
Luca + Michael come with Fast Pack. Alto & Ozma are available to purchase separately. But I won't be getting them.
As for BMB no not yet, Bandai isn't quite ready to milk the Vf-25 line just yet.
I'm working on it!
How can I look for this model? there is a specific model name you can give me? thanks ^_^
does the armor pack come with alto plane or by it self as i would like to by one
Depends on the type you get there's Gloss, Semi-Gloss and matte or flat I think not sure what the last one is called. That's basically no gloss.
Gloss = Shiny
Flat = no shiny
Wizartar: how much die cast on it ? any idea ?
did the fast pack come with it
If you mean the custom decal sheets Bandai where doing, then yes.
whta's the difference between 1/60 VF-25G model to 1/60 VF-25S model ? quality ? what's he best pick ?
this 1 is nice. but i am still thinking about getting the 1/72 version. plz review XD
Not too sure, can't always tell the difference between die & ABS. It's mostly the legs and joints. I'd say at most 25%.
nice video...

Not sure, they're a web exclusive offer or something, don't really know the details.
Yes you can buy it online. Yes if you can find it you can get it! XD
멋짐이 터져나옴
Lol. I had one of those pins poped out and uncurled . Such a pain.
@Wizartar Hmm... When you put it like that, it makes me feel akward. But yes. I think I'd be best off with the toy. I am currently constructing a 1/72 SR-71 Blackbird. I will be ;)
@legonakonow
Go watch the new Macros Frontier movie, "Wings of Goodbye".
It gives the series a slightly different ending.
