Yo. If none of this works here is what i tried (u wont find this on youtube) Unplug all your hard drives and only plug the hard drive u want to acces. Then it will run a ... automatic repair. [If u get a black screen with cursor just restart] *Make sure ur monitor is connected to the motherboard* Then turn it again and it should get u in automatic repair. Go to advance option and reset everything. That should fix

when I rescanned my D drive (which was doing the problem ) vanished
Open computer management and give the unallocated drive or drive without name a name..
Click on start menu and type computer management to open
@@LotusGeek where in computer management? If in "Disk Management" It's not listed, at all. It vanished during the rescan disk step
