Just for anyone struggling at Balteus, you can dodge those barrage of missiles, by using assault boost and moving towards Balteus, this will cause the missiles to fall to the ground, negating a good chunk of damage that you will otherwise receive if you try to move away from them or quick boost. Secondly, use plasma rifles, those are the best weapons for this encounter, as they not only melt away Balteus' shield, they also deal a ton of impact damage while doing so. Good luck Ravens!

This is my first AC game, and I can tell it’s got a way it likes to play, and while every build is viable, there’s one that just melts the enemy and it’s a speed build. Thankfully I love zipping around at light speed just laying damage on
This game is really amazing so far and can tell I’m going play it over and over again because of how fun it is, this is probably the best mech game to come out in a long time and I wish I had gotten into the series more when I was younger, once you also unlock the multiplayer it gets even better, I really love the fact that you can duel other online players
I'm glad Balteus humbled you a little because I was getting so annoyed you were winning everything before without any adjustments to your mech hardly. 😂 Full tank works surprisingly well against him and load up with heavy weaponry. Beat him in like 1 minute. But that's what the game encourages you to do is find the best builds for you.

Halfway through the stream and he's still using the exact default loadout which doesn't include a left shoulder weapon. How hasn't he noticed and why haven't the chat told him?
Streamer brain is too strong. He clicked through a bunch of explanations for various systems without reading them too. Makes the watching experience worse but he’s playing for an audience of mostly kids so he feels like he has to keep the pace up. It’s understandable.
The boss with the missle barrage is supposed to be fought on the inside but not too close because he emits some type of explosion. But yeah follow him closely as much as you can and when he does rhe barrage dive in next to him and he wont send them in succession
He doenst even quick boost dodge balteus. I wish he would actually engage with the game - the arena/training, and even just straight up Mech building part of the MECH game. He's purposely handicapping himself. Which would be fine if he were doing it knowingly. I see he beat it, good for him and he's stoked about it, still wish he would engage with all the mechanics of the game.
he seems pretty fixated on proving everyone wrong about how hard the game is, so he resists unlocking anything new or trying different weapons. boring way to play a game about customizing a robot if you ask me
If anyone is still struggling on Balteus missiles you fly up pick a direction to float then right as the missile get in front of you dodge the opposite way and they’ll fly right past and lose track i probably explained it horribly but your essentially sitting on one spot then juking to the other right before the barrage gets to you , you can do it for both burst of missiles as long as you have ENG
@15:21 man chat was no help at the beginning here at all for anyone that wants to play controller you can select on screen prompts for gamepad in the settings, easy to find missile lock on is indicated via a small number next to the yellow bar on highlighted enemies based on the number that can fire from the launcher, in this case 1-4
Balteus is such a push over, once you learn to stick to it like glue through the fear of the missile barrage. Back off for the assault pulse. Back in to dance. The shotgun attack is the hardest to dodge for me and in close it hurts the most. Took about 20 tries to realize taking a few hits from missiles wasn't a big deal.
Can't remember which one but I played an armored core back in the day and its one of those games that left an imprint on my brain that i could never quite figure out what from. When i heard about the release of AC6 all the memories flooded back in of how fuckin cool the concept and gameplay is in these games, such a joy to watch.
One i got the spike and the oscilating sword i just got the secondary weapon bays and used mele combat i found its more effective in an aggressive strategy and allows the mech to move faster if you get the basho arms and the gen 1 thrusters it allows the melee damage to go up exponentially makeing him a 4 shot with the wombo combo
For vacuums you wanna get a Miele canister vac, trust me. They’re a bit pricey but will last fucking forever and are as good as it gets for hard floors. For carpet, I’m not sure what’s best, but I use the Miele to dust and clean everything.
it took me maybe a dozen trys to beat the tutorial boss. I had to stay under him and spam the swords everytime they came off cooldown. not sure if the guns or rockets are even worth using because the boss feels like a sponge.
I don’t know how I had such a lucky first try with balteus all I hear is how he filters people tf out, I’m having way more trouble with sea spider that’s the first time I hit a boss where I’m like which load out works best weapon wise 🤔, loving it, makes me want to try out other recent mech games since the one before this I enjoyed was zone of the Enders 2
Charlie never misses out on a good game! This one has been great. The soundtrack is awesome, especially during the Balteus fight. Took me a while to beat him, but when I tried a particular build I had a much easier time.
I beat the boss on 2 tries maybe i am a natural. I was always moving with the thrusters where it looks like you are skiing. I kept using the building for cover and kept flying up for melee attacks
As a raven who moves like he's on crack with a speed build, dodging BALTEUS' missile barrage isn't the issue, its the flame arm/thrower and the single big fat missile he shoots. If I can master dodging those two, he'll be pretty easy for me.
Ive been wanting a fast pacced mech shooter. This was exactly what i wanted and man am i terrible with the guns but once i got the mellee combat down im a menace.
2:45:40 Damn he really pulled through with that run. But he got so fucking lucky on a lot of this 🤣 So many of those attacks would wiped me clean out without a second thought. 2:39:33 that was beautiful. Cinematic as hell.
28:02 "How deep does the customization go?" Welcome to the Armored Core rabbit hole.
So glad Charlie started streaming on YT I don’t like twitch and only ever caught like a few mins of one stream, now I have already been to 3 and had a good time. Honestly tho, whatever he wants to do with his channel and content is up to him and I will try to support
Dyson vacuums are 100% worth the money you spend on them. They work and they work well
This is my first AC game, and I can tell it’s got a way it likes to play, and while every build is viable, there’s one that just melts the enemy and it’s a speed build. Thankfully I love zipping around at light speed just laying damage on
@Viperesssthere not that un similar I mean they both have quick turn
@Viperessswhat? Bs! I have 4A Played it again waiting for A6. It's exactly the same. A6 quick turn is the same. You're memory isn't that good.
@VaiperessOk ladies we get it, you’re both beautiful.
I played the first Armored Core on a demo disc on the PS1. A long ass time ago... but its all I needed, because I have been a huge AC fan ever since.
The gulp of water at 0:10 made me the thirstiest i've ever been
Why is this so funny
Charlie beat so many Elden Ring bosses without much difficulty that seeing him get melted by Balteus like the rest of us is quite satisfying
u dont know shit
the glazing is crazy
im glad im not as stupid as you lil bro
Please live stream more of this dude.
"Dude"?!? You must refer to Sir Charles as " Legend" or "Keanu Reeves"

Or just play the game yourself?
@@elephaux5671 I’m so much a gamer I put the gay in gamer
@@elephaux5671What's wrong with him wanting Charlie to see the game through to the end?
Did he just stop playing this? Can't find the vods anywhere for the rest.
i think he just forgot about the game
New games came out so this one's popularity died. Most streamers/youtubers dropped it because it didn't get as many views.
This game is really amazing so far and can tell I’m going play it over and over again because of how fun it is, this is probably the best mech game to come out in a long time and I wish I had gotten into the series more when I was younger, once you also unlock the multiplayer it gets even better, I really love the fact that you can duel other online players
1:40:40 Akchually, there's a max of 8 combat logs 🤓
Im glad I wasent the only one who struggled with the first boss.
I'm glad Balteus humbled you a little because I was getting so annoyed you were winning everything before without any adjustments to your mech hardly. 😂
Full tank works surprisingly well against him and load up with heavy weaponry. Beat him in like 1 minute. But that's what the game encourages you to do is find the best builds for you.
i have a feeling this is gonna be one of those games that some people will play the wrong way and then drop it when they get their ass beat
So like every game from Fromsoftware.
@@Hayson898to an extent. i feel like with soulsbournekiring its pretty easy to grasp: level up strength and kill big bad man. this game seems like you actually gotta think pretty hard about ur AC build and shit but i could be wrong
@@memphiskashhard to say, soulsborne has been gaining more and more fans, but AC is fairly niche. Time will tell
@@memphiskash Ah, I can sort of see where you're coming from but the soulsborne games were difficult to understand before walkthroughs and mainstream success where hundreds of people pored hours into learning and finding everything. I think with AC6, those walkthroughs, and wikis will come in handy to a lot of newcomers.
@@memphiskashI never level strength. Guess I've been playing it wrong. lol
The lazer is a save for stagger. Lazer blast in the face is very useful.
Another banger stream boss fight was clutch at the end pretty fun
Edit: timestamp of fight 2:24:36-2:46:26
Spectating Charlie while he wears his spectacles... It truly is a spectacle
i fell asleep and woke up to this covered in sweat
@15:21 man chat was no help at the beginning here at all
for anyone that wants to play controller you can select on screen prompts for gamepad in the settings, easy to find
missile lock on is indicated via a small number next to the yellow bar on highlighted enemies based on the number that can fire from the launcher, in this case 1-4
Yeah like if you just keep damaging him and strafing decently he’s not that bad, I got him my first time in just a couple tries
I like how in the game Charlie barely customizes the AC with like color or paint and just adds weapons
Once I saw the fromsoft main menu layout, I knew it was gonna be good
I've just noticed that this had been playing during an all nighter to finish my essay for today
Damn Charlie, nicely done on the Balteus fight!
Can't remember which one but I played an armored core back in the day and its one of those games that left an imprint on my brain that i could never quite figure out what from. When i heard about the release of AC6 all the memories flooded back in of how fuckin cool the concept and gameplay is in these games, such a joy to watch.
First mission gave me insane halo infinite vibes
Really enjoyed this stream !! Keep it up that way !!
No part 2. No moist meter 😢
Anyone struggling with the bosses, try changing ur ac build. Im using the tank legs + gattling guns build and it melts the game.
balteus took me like 2 hours 💀 he’s a god gamer
I'm just asking for you to play more of this
For vacuums you wanna get a Miele canister vac, trust me. They’re a bit pricey but will last fucking forever and are as good as it gets for hard floors. For carpet, I’m not sure what’s best, but I use the Miele to dust and clean everything.
Love that Charlie is playing this
it took me maybe a dozen trys to beat the tutorial boss. I had to stay under him and spam the swords everytime they came off cooldown. not sure if the guns or rockets are even worth using because the boss feels like a sponge.
Not sure why he gave up on quicboosting to dodge the missiles. He also wasted so much energy by trying to stay in the air.
Anyone know if charlie finished this game on another stream?
Glad I can catch more of your streams on YT.
i fell asleep and i woke up to this stream, was it live? im confused
Charlie never misses out on a good game! This one has been great. The soundtrack is awesome, especially during the Balteus fight. Took me a while to beat him, but when I tried a particular build I had a much easier time.
The same person who said the game is trash, what have you all done to him!?
This man is a human
You’re not wrong
no, he’s a well oiled gaming machine
Good analysis
0:58 Nice DSP impersonation!
Bless Milky, and may his trip continue into the golden light of all knowing.
“Idk who Robert Englund is, hope he’s a great actor tho” that hurt my heart Charles
Makes me want to go back to play Blast Corps N64 for some reason.
i just finished ch2 (and the boss at the end) and god this game is so fucking good
It's not though it's fromsofts worst game ever made by far, quite disappointing due to how quality of games fromsofts can create
@Officer_Wolff but it's not tho. If it was. Ds2 wouldn't be so hated. Just cause YOU don't like it, doesn't make it bad.
@@Imperium_protectorwho asked you?
@@Imperium_protectornice bait
@@DanDlllm WHO ASKED YOU LOL, you unprompted shared your stinky opinion. Also sounds like the smell of a gamer who hasn't played ac6
Gotta say... the Strider was an absolute idiot sandwich of a design. "Oh no, one guy shot a leg. We're stuck now"
Charlie you need to look into what does what to your mech
And I really wasted my time figuring out better builds, to still struggle more than Charlie. What the fuck
I should've definitely been using jet boost way more often. Was using it sparingly since my dodges used enough energy as is 🤦🏻♂️
