My husband is an international teacher in the UK . why is it so difficult to get a rental in Luton.. all the letting agencies he contacted , they are telling him that he as to pay a large rental deposit .

There is nothing spacious about these flats. Everything is packed, they look like rabbit holes. You need to travel around Europe and see how a normal livingrooms or bedrooms look like. Master bedroom and you can't nothing inside exept the bed.
We do partially agree with you, but it seems that's the way new properties are continued being built in the UK!
Thats a great way to make money. Make small houses and sell them for riduculous prices. Thats called ripping off.

Can I get accomodation near Luton town centre for 4. We are all students studying in university of Hertforddshire. Reaching UK fir sept intake (2022-23)
Your best bet is to search for dedicated student accommodation, they'll be better equipped to suit new UK entrants.
