When i connect like you do on the vid the light in the cigaretlighter starts to light up roof does notthing with that connection any help? I have a 2003 b6
Does not work on my a4 2003 i am missing a cable in the ( on your vid) White socket and when connecties the Red wire as you do i get the light on cigaret lichter to go on stay on ?
Trick.. mines black too.. I just put black alzor wheels on it.. and miss this style of wheel already oh wait no I hated cleaning those damn things. Hahaha it looks real good man..
My 2003 b6 has other connections when connected like the video i get my cig lichter to light up and stays on roof does nothing any Help

That sounds unusual, that shouldn't happen but contact the manufacturer about it
If it's still under warranty in sure they will replace it
why do i need to reset the module?
It's a safety feature of the module, if you open/close the roof but then need to stop for any reason, the module will disable for around 5 seconds to prevent the roof from moving electronically
You don't need to reset the module at all, it will reset itself if what I mentioned above where happens
Unless you could do all that with the push of a button 😂 with your car key what's the point
You can't do it with your car key unless you fit another, more expensive module which involves more wiring
From inside the car with the key in the ignition you have to hold it for the full process which is around 30 seconds I think.. personally when I'm pulling away out of a car park or if i'm approaching the place I'll be parking my car, I can move the roof up or down by doing this. I can't do it from the key fob unless the car is turned off to take the key out of the ignition
Only saves 30 seconds but for me personally it helps a lot

Oh sorry, I thought you were asking why I didn't just do it the 'hold it for 30 second way' 😂
You can fit a module for the key, I tried it but it didn't work too great and so I gave it back to the seller
I think it was down to me doing something wrong with the wiring though to be honest
