Loved them! I was born in the 60's and grew up with them on the turntable.
R.I. P. Jim Pike (in the center) today, June 9, 2019
My Dad had this music on 8 track. When my parents would go out and the babysitter came over I would lock the bedroom door, find one of my Dad's dress shirts and sing these songs in front of the mirror. Great songs to learn how to harmonize to! 🤗😍😊
My favorite vocal group! Only Tony Butala is still with ya. I have all their autographs!
This beautiful song reminds me of my daddy this is his favorite he loves playing this song over and over... And now I'll never gonna hear this song again with him I miss you daddy :'(
I cry for you and my self
I think Brian Wilson must have heard and been inspired by this. I hear Beach Boys harmonies in there.
And 4 Seasons.
All 3 men were hearthrobs. Awesome that Tony is still one today. May Bob and Jim RIP. Their voices blend so well together and bring back childhood memories ❤
I still have a VHS copy of "A Summer Place" and this song ws one of my very favorites of all time. This "Letterman" version is just wonderful.
I think I've watched "summer place " at least a hundred times!!!
Awesome song with awesome vocals. I just love listening to the Lettermen singing this song, there are no equals today.
This classic just never ends. Weather it's Percy Faith, or another orchestra. The Lettermen does this timeless version to perfection!!!
Prettiest song ever.
Love their version!
They had great voices.
My Dad's favorite group 😍
Born in the summer, we rocked our sweet baby girl to sleep while playing this song. In our home this is, "The Baby's Song". Thank you for sharing this video.
The 60s scored a direct nuclear hit on their careers. Their demise took that entire type of music with them.
I love these guys. Perfect harmony.
Wonderfully done by a super group! This version is my favorite.
Awww such a sweet memory, thanks for sharing with us!
The song is on my personal top 100 list. I was certainly here in 1962 but don't remember watching the performance on TV. There has never been a version as good as The Lettermen. Thank you.

This beautiful song is one that is very close to my heart...it was one of my mother's very favorites. We used to listen to this one together, and I can "feel" her near every time I hear it. Thank you Phil - for the music and the memory...
Siempre me ha gustado esa melodía,en los años 60 ,solo tenía dos años,pero en la adolescencia la escuché y me gustó 🌟🌟🌺
Great song.
When we were still at home, my mom on weekend chores would put letterman and others on her console stereo😃
She did that to minimize the griping and moaning we sometimes did.. that music made our chores so much easier and faster. Not a peep out of us the whole time. We would sing with them. So much fun. ..1966/7 My mom was Smart! lol…
Muy linda versión de este hermoso tema.
Love it Thanks !!
The original three and the sound is as pure as driven snow.RIP Bobby E.
Such a beautiful Love song and those who are Blessed with Love are the Lucky ones. It could rain or storm it would not matter if She Loved me!

This is a pretty version, but I am partial to the instrumental version from the ROSE RED movie.

Merv Griffin or Mike Douglas? It looked like Mike Douglas but I'm not sure.
A young Merv Griffin.
Do you know Jasper? 8DD
A theme to a winters place is better.
