  • Tony, Gary and Donny do each vocal part separately then sing "When I Fall In Love" a cappella..
They then do a cooking segment and learn how to make Taco Burgers. Donny's cooking segment is part 2 and very funny on how to peel an onion..

The one on the right is bob Engemann. He was my uncle. He passed away last January. He was just as good a man as he is a singer. He loved every person he met. Love you bobby!

After watching this incredible video again, I noticed something else... that their vocals sound very much like a barber shop quartet, just "modernized" for the times. Listen very carefully, and see if you can hear it. It just shows how all musical styles are based upon the beautiful music of the past. I love these guys!!

This is awesome. Most folks have never heard a song taken into parts and don't know how hard it can be to sing your part and not the melody ;)

The Lettermen are a true class act. I grew up in the early sixties listening to their music and buying their 45's. Their harmony was second to none. Thank you for posting this!!

In my opinion, the Lettermen's version is the best ever recorded of this great song. Listening to the separate vocal parts is a very special treat. Thanks for posting this clip.

I had the pleasure of being included in dinners with Tony Butala….my close friends were friends of these guys and included me in private times before, and after the shows! I still remember sitting on the couch with Tony discussing different singers! A wonderful experience…and one I cherish! Would get to unwind with them after the shows was time I will always remember. So glad my friends included me!

"The Way You Look Tonight" from 1961 was a favourite of mine. I was only 16 then. I'm 74 now and still love their super Harmonising. 😄

The Lettermen were classic musical harmonies, classic unforgettable melodies, classic mesmerizing love songs - seldom matched - evenly brothers, the Beatles, the association - you won’t anything near this today.
