After seeing him in t.v.'s, "Surfside Six" & "Hawaiian Eye", plus his starring western movie role in 1964's, "A Distant Trumpet", I thought that I was looking at a new "Superstar"! However, Donahue worked for Warner Bros. studios, who were renowned for paying their actors low salaries, plus his addictions led to a lifestyle, that he couldn't continue to afford! It was a sad ending to a potential career that could have led to a great future!
