      You know it's 5e, they're old as hell and have played every edition, give them a break.

      I was gonna say, it's just old head DnD players, they come from a world of wizards with 1d4 -1 hp at lvl 1

    Valor gets great armor and Inspiration that buffs their allies combat powers
    Swords get worse armor, selfish self smite for bardic inspiration smh.
    Meanwhile bard still full caster.
    Extra attack + Magic Weapon > Every cantrip (bar optimized eldritch blast ofc
    Valor goes as most underrated subclass in 5e

    I'm sorry but there is functionally and thematically nothing wrong with valor.
    Oh boo hoo it doesn't get it's extra attack until a level later. Maybe that's because it's a freaking full caster and a bard at that?! The people who complain about this stuff are the same ones calling fighters boring, while insisting that the non combat class be allowed to fight just as good as the fighter.
