This seems to be the most talked about new technique that is suppose to cure a tensed pelvic floor. I’ve noticed this everywhere lately on pelvic channels. Your explanation is spot on. I enjoy your videos very much! I have learned so much from them. I wish I live closer to Irvine. I would definitely see you!
Thanks for following us.
Weird video….because you didn’t actually describe exactly WHAT a “reverse kegel” is!!?
Was this a vocabulary lesson❓ still don’t know how to “reverse”
WHAT IS REVERSE KEGEL? can you describe that?
That’s essentially pushing out to relax and I am against that FYI!! I can see why it is described that way and I also see the danger of doing it wrong.
@@corepelvicfloortherapy I have seen different PTs, and they describe it differently. One told me to relax the pelvic floor when I inhale, and do like flower blossoming. Other told me to do it during exhale, like I am passing gas. I am so confused. Which one should I use?
@@harshvardhan4341 when you inhale through your nose and done right (search for biological breathing), you relax the muscles inside the pelvis so when they say flower blossoming, I guess they are looking at it from the outside down at the perineum. I think most people pushout more which what reverse Kegel would be and the reason why I dont use that nor encourage people to do. Then when they say exhale and 'pass gas' it is because there is a collection of misinformation out there where they use the pick up 'marbles' with your penis or vagina analogy which is also IMO the wrong cueing. So to counter that, they say pass gas to encourage relaxation of the perineum. It is a mess of information and mixed cueing out there- I know!
I’m not sure if it’s because im tightening up my pc during masturbation or is it possibly im doing the reverse kegels wrong I masturbate in the shower everyday standing up please give me some advice I do reverse kegels every other day should I chill with the masturbating until my pc loosens up
