PRT?
Oh, snap! I just figured it out. Nevermind!
WA State, thanks for the insightful comments about Panama. In the past I followed Patty on her RUclips channel. She's simply fantastic !
Thank you!!
Thanks Jackie and Patty for the great information.
Thanks for watching the livestream
Thanks - glad it was helpful.
Listening to the replay I'm 2023 from Alabama.
Thanks for listening!
awesome interview. I watched Patty's video on the car in the ditch... I have been on the tour.. and want to move there. But I am single and do not feel like its as affordable as some people claim, for one person. Retirement is several years away. Keeping my fingers crossed.
It depends on where you live in Panama. Some places are much more affordable than others.
Thank you ladies for the video , from the Netherlands .
Thanks for another great video!
Glad you like them!
Wise lady’s excellent advice!!
Hi Keisha ☺️
Thanks for making this for singles, !!!! :) usually it’s just geared to couples
My pleasure!
Yes agreed. Many more elements when you’re single or without a partner; including rent-no one to split it with…lol, 😂
I can hear you both
I'm a single female digital nomad from Canada in my late 30s interested in Panama. I've never been but want to explore the country. Can you please make some videos for those who aren't ready to relocate but want to check out Panama? For example, where to find short term furnished accommodation and cost of living videos for the different areas. Thanks!
good ideas. Thanks
Loud and clear
When we moved to Ecuador they told us the rule was "We only do two things a day here and getting up is one." In other words, relax, slow down. Some of us expats had a hard time making the shift, but we would always repeat the rule and have a laugh.
Love this; great advice- thanks!

@@PanamaRelocationTours I’ve been discussing Panama Relocation Tours with my financial advisers on the best structuring my resources to make the move comfortable.
As a ( former ) European I can only say that if you choose to live ANYWHERE in the E.U. coming from the US , sooner or later ( more likely SOONER !) you will regret it . For a bunch of reasons . Unless you are one of those people who cherish a “ big SOCIALIST government “ that dictates your personal life and digs deep into your bank account through countless and very steep taxes ! America is now going in that direction and it will end up really BAD : just a matter of time !
One piece of advice from a former Italian expat , now a dual citizen ,living in America for almost a quarter of a century : LEARN THE LANGUAGE !!! Or at least make a huge effort to speak it no matter what . I know there are gringo enclaves in Panama , like Boquete and Coronado ,but you live in a SPANISH - SPEAKING country where English is NOT the commonly spoken language nor one of the official ones . Plus , you want to mix with the locals and live your new life as a member of the community more than secluding yourself in an Indian reservation - like kind of expat community. When I left Italy I could not even understand English but while still with the jet-lag effects I was already taking English classes five days a week . Just saying….
Good advice
No way. Speak english and hang out with just other expats.
@@tonywalton1052 the least intelligent way to live in a foreign country …. Unless you are being sarcastic !
Completely agree. When I was working overseas, I learned the language and I kept it. I still keep in touch with speaking my second language it really added to my life.:)
Not every single person is interested in dating anymore once they are retired. :)
Of course, some are.
That's for sure!
I watch you from Brussels Belgium
Thanks for watching!
Hi 👋
Detroit mi
Does it work in Panama without driving? I don’t want to drive in high traffic or alone to another city in the mountains or the jungle. What made it stressful riding on the bus? By the way, I speak Spanish, because I took a lot in school and traveled in Mexico when I was young.
It depends on where you live. Some areas will have great access to public transportaton and some will not. So, pick your area wisely
That’d is good advice for Patty and she took to slow
Jackie, I live in Las Vegas, but Im from Puerto Rico...how can I find your information for future tours?
Thanks for your interest in Panama Relocation Tours. Here's information on the 7-night, 6-day all-inclusive tours panamarelocationtours.com/tours

I love dogs and it would break my heart and distress me to no end to live somewhere where I see them suffering all the time. Does the government there has a spay neuter program for the strays? Are there any animal shelters in that area?
There are no government sponsored spay neuter clinics or animal shelters. Some private individuals have started them though.
Thank you Jackie. Yesterday while surfing RUclips, I came across dog camp in Boquete started by Javier and Magaly from Peru. They have now acquired a large piece of lands and taking strays off the streets. It warmed my heart to know that this amazing couple have dedicated themselves to this cause. I hope they get more financial support from the community there and everywhere . Peace and love
It looks like there are hoards of older single women headed to Panama! I guess the good news is that if I decide to come down there will be people to play with...I hope there will be single men, too.
There are men and women of all ages moving to Panama.
That feeling by American walking int the woods with a man with a machete musty be similar to the feeling that Panamanians get when they are walking in the woods in the U.S. and suddenly encounter an group of hunters in cammo with rifles. lol
After an while one gets to realise that most people one meets on hunting season are actually mighty nice people. Soon I was finding myself eating venison sausage and jerky and swapping fish for some of their deer catches. lol
Machetes in Panama are almost as cultural a thing in the countryside as rifles are in the countryside in many parts of the U.S.
That is too funny 😂 And I’m so used to seeing the machetes now, but it was surprising!
Haha !😁I know that feeling umbilical! I use machete all the time in My backyard. My Greetings from David city Panamá.
Amazing not unbilical😂😂😂😂

I’m 100% service connected disabled vet I draw 100% compensation pay and SSD -would I lose my checks if I move there?
No. You would still get paid
Can youdo a video on buying a car there.
Good idea.
Which area is Patty living in?
El Valle de Anton
Its Lady s !
good advice...fake wallet with 5 dollars.....jajajajaj
What? No Mercedes Benz? Lol 😂
You lost me on the starving dogs and fake wallet but thanks.
I do the fake wallet on any big city including here in the US.
Me too. Can’t see starving dogs walking around without feeling distressed. Would want to adopt all of them
@@shahnazotanian6486 would be better to have programs to neuter more of them. Puppies and kittens are very cute but there’s not enough good. homes for them.
Better to have good homes for them instead of being abused, or they are starved.
