Both comment are true. I've experience great user experience. and yet, when on demands like launching camera app, camera color correction software, fingerprint scanner issue. Based on the Xperia l2 , m4 aqua, Xperia xz2 , xz, Xperia xz2 premium and the currently using ,Xperia 1
Don't get me wrong, I love each of their phone's feature, like the Xperia xz2 premium fingerprint scanner + face unlock . Made me feel like a true God.
@@TheModoo32 Because it didn't boosting colour like Samsung that doesn't mean Sony camera are worse. It shows true natural colours. And it'll get 2 major update definitely. And you'll notice that there plenty of smartphone manufacturers saying that there device have 6gb, 8gb, even 12gb Ram on their phones. But once a year ago it'll lagging like hell. But now I'm using Sony Xperia xzs which released back in 2017 but it's still smooth as the day one. I'm not saying this is the best feature phone. But for an average user can use Sony devices for more than 5years.
My last couple of times I owned a Sony all the features was just good enough with some strokes of genius. Going to get this phone and hopefully I love it more.

Just got my preorder in the UK with the Sony WH-1000XM3 the phone is arriving on the 18th June exciting times. Great to have a Sony mobile again last one was the XZ. They have finally nailed it bringing in all the great innovations from their top divisions Bravia, Alpha, Walkman Audio and more. Finally a 3.5mm headphone jack, sleek elegant design and no horrible notch or hole punch just true immersion.
I've been checking the UK sony website daily and recently gave up as kept seeing 'available soon'..so nice to go to the page after seeing your comment and seeing the pre-order!

I don't wanna spend $1200 on this phone but I don't wanna wait for it either. May just go full price with this one and sell the earbuds. Does Sony actually allow the same long shutter speed for all the lenses? I would love to put this on a tripod and bang out a 30 second exposure from the telephoto. I wish I could test it out in stores before purchasing.
Tom Francis before Android pie, Amazon prime supported 4k on mobile. I used to use it a lot and unfortunately a lot of my apps either stopped working or they were a lesser version of themselves after 9.0. I was really bummed on my XZPREMIUM. It was truly an amazing experience, much better than Netflix quality
In Creator mode it is 4K in my Xperia1 but if not Creator mod on it be 1080p So must use Creators mode if like be 4K so Som test not realy get That When use Creators ode will get Set up like best Picture in RUclips setting up in right get 4K if it is in that so are 4K in creators mode way Wierd in Experts say are not read that in Very clear Explain in text read that so get that 🤔

About the WHITE BALANCE...GsmArena pointed out if you set the phone with D61 as a white point then you will get the best colour accuracy and perfect WHITE BALANCE. Peace
I’m honestly considering purchasing this phone, but I have a question that I need answered if ya’ll don’t mind. Is this phone “right" for someone who is not a photographer in any way? The most that I will do with this phone’s camera app, is take photos of an upcoming work schedule; yet everything else seems next-level about this phone, when compared to the iPhone 11 and s20.
I have the xperia 1 III and so far I'm loving it. Most of what you touched on here applies to the new phone as well. Photo pro may have been integrated into the basic photo app for simplicity but the options there from just tinkering with it are massive. Thanks!! 👍🏾👍🏾

Y'all gonna laugh at me, but this and the mark 5, were the only phones that worked with my provider, had the processor I wanted, and had a headphone jack. Those were the only features that set them apart from the competition for me. I don't really take pictures of anything, my phone probably has more screenshots than pictures XD. I ended up getting the mark 1 ii, by the way. I didn't need it, but a 4k screen seemed pretty cool and it is.
really excited for this phone, and one of the most anticipated for 2020. I love my Xperia 5 and this will be a great upgrade. Debating whether to preorder or wait until they are released.

@TK Bay, are you notive any bug with Ambient Display? Mine is working erratically despite being on always on. Screen turns black after receiving notifications or after proximity sensor has been covered. Only way to get it back is double tap or power button. Notifications do not even wake up the screen. Reboot will fix the issue but just for an hour or so. 😭
I'm not a massive camera buff but i've been getting into it more and more and was in the market for the P30 pro. Then started looking at the OnePlus 8 Pro cause it felt like a better phone for day to day use. Now this thing showed up. Im so conflicted. so right now, sadly no 5G but Tbh right now unless you are in NYC you will be getting the speeds as 5G on 4G LTE. but in the future that might change as they deploy more of Sprints spectrum. for me I pre-ordered my unit already. the cameras are that good
Just flash them with non-US firmware, and you should get 5G. But I dunno if it'll work with US 5G carrier though. They're using the 5G band that's unique to them. The rest of the world is using n78 3.6 GHz band, but for some reason US is using their own n261 28 GHz band that no other country uses. Even I'm speechless as to why they use such a high frequency band. Sure It's fast, but they're so limited in range and require a direct line of sight, that the lack of practicality makes it useless.

Hi TK, i would like to know if Prime video is supported in 4K since it was not shown in the video. Also does the upscaling with X1 mobile engine really work? 360° audio is not a Sony smartphone exclusive, i also don't find it really convincing :( so for me it is a pass.

The photo viewer's back button goes to the standard camera because it's its not a back button. Sony didn't include Album, so that's Google Photos showing the picture and providing a linking a camera that would work on any android phone.

I got this and like it alot, but, the front camera and Snapchat does not go well together.. pictures gets to dark.. And you can't close all the apps running with a push of 1 button.. u need to swipe up every app you close...
My only ire for Sony's phones is its screen brightness no matter how expensive it is. It seems the same goes here despite of having high 600+ ppi yet it looks dim compared to even medium range phones. Can you try to review it? Thanks

Opening the shutter for 30 seconds is a long time. What are you taking a photo off?
I think it's Important to note Netlfix and amazon prime don't yet have 4k video accessible to mobile devices, but may be coming in a later update!

Sir you have one of the best review channels out there. I feel that you can get a lot more views if you work on the one thing that seems to be lacking. And that is your talking speed and articulation. I'm not a native speaker but my English is very good. Still though, I have trouble following all your amazing information, because it's just too fast and too mumbled for me to catch it in one go. I've had to play it back a bunch of times.

I live in the u.s. and currently use the pixel 2xl and need a new phone. based on reviews I'm between this phone and waiting to see if I can get a OnePlus 8 pro if ever available. Living in the u.s. I've found I'm missing most of the good phones. In your opinion should I try to wait on OnePlus or pull the trigger on this? Thanks for the info!

360° audio is not a Sony smartphone exclusive, i also don't find it really convincing :( so for me it is a pass.

The headphones are only free if you preorder from b&h photo. Amazon is listing the headphones with the phone for 1,427.99 when B&H photo has them for 1.198.00. buy from B&H photo.

thank you, in the US no 5G and on Tmobile and ATT the best I got was 111 down and 35 up. and average was in the 80 down and 20 up. not bad but sadly no 5G

@TK does the phone allow for multiple user accounts to be created? A phone from Sony that is top notch finally! Also be aware, pre-orders on certain online retailers do not include the ear buds.

The photo viewer's back button goes to the standard camera because it's its not a back button. Sony didn't include Album, so that's Google Photos showing the picture and providing a linking a camera that would work on any android phone.

I got this and like it alot, but, the front camera and Snapchat does not go well together.. pictures gets to dark..
And you can't close all the apps running with a push of 1 button.. u need to swipe up every app you close...
My only ire for Sony's phones is its screen brightness no matter how expensive it is. It seems the same goes here despite of having high 600+ ppi yet it looks dim compared to even medium range phones. Can you try to review it? Thanks
