It's telling that all the compliments are first about Paolo with Alina as a after thought. He is a peacock always looking down or away from her to see who's looking at him...very little at her. She is the frame and he is the picture. Alina could be replaced with a skeleton and Paolo would just keep dancing. Neither dancer moves their hips very much. Is this salsa or ballroom dancing? On the positive, they both dress well, no shirt out, baseball cap, or jeans.

Not even latinos dance like that and btw the video you shared in your reply has 0 musicality, boring steps that don’t stand out at all, you can swap the guy for a programmed robot and she wouldn’t even notice. This misconception of staring at the lady all the time comes from anywhere except latin america, only if you are a couple it can work, but look at Alina looking down because the guy stares way too much like if he’s on the spectrum. Nothing wrong with looking down from time to time especially if you’re doing solo steps or improvisation like Paolo.
@@Jut37 Haha I’m from a latin american village and you can’t tell me how to do dance something that is part of our culture for the last 60+ years. Top Latino dancers who come from latin america will always be a higher level than anybody because they grew up listening to those songs since kids, they understand clearly what the song is saying and the musicality comes naturally. Comparing this video with the one you shared, you can easily see the difference that this one is way better. This one has a different level of musicality and interpretation with the one you shared. With respect, you are nobody to tell me what I should dance or not because we dance all latino genres since kids not just salsa. Whether salsa is global or not, it’s none of my concern but you can’t dictate how to dance it, even worse with that video you shared that lacked everything.
