Just saw a video of myself dancing, and the way I'm struggling, the way I'm trying so hard to just finish the moves, and then the troubled look when I'm trying to come up with the next move was really painful and pathetic, and then I see this... Wow. Smooth, fluid, effortless, and most of all, enjoying the dance!
Keep dancing, it will get better and more smooth, just keep practicing and keep dancing. Everyone was there where you are including the best dancers out there.
They're really three parts to the whole thing. One, you have to be able to move and feel good doing it. Two, you have to know what the follower does and you can move with them to support the way they like to dance and three, you have to want to dance with that person and make them enjoy what they're capable of and what you want to do to show them off. If two people are really having a great time smiling because they love what the other person is doing with them that is the best dance no matter what the moves are. Watch neary with Jennifer, a video from about 8 to 10 years ago. That video is still the best video of social dancing I've seen on the web with two people really being into dancing with each other. To some leaders she would have been a huge challenge cuz she likes to express herself so much. With him he just played with her and they both had a great time because of it
Remember that the brain can do only one complex thing at a time. Try adding 2+4 and 5+6 at the same time. I don't know anyone who can do the two additions simultaneously. Now, translate that into dance. You have to 1. Get the rhythm right, 2. Your body motion right, 3. Your current move right (basic, CBL, etc.), 3. Think of your next move, 4. Get your connection to the follow (each is different) 5. Get the musicality As you practice more and more, you will be pushing all the things from the conscious (pre-frontal cortex) into what is known in this world as muscle memory. That is why CC22 can make those brilliant moves even while reading the other 9 players and can create holes inside any defense. She has already practiced all the moves and has perfected them. Her brain is at a totally different level. Nery Garcia's brain works at a different level from mine because he has all the basics and their refinements embedded in his muscle memory. Even then, not everyone can be Nery Garcia.
I watch a lot of video people dancing social this guy is really good appreciate that he dance the girl dance and enjoy and I dance also , you know what I'm gonna watch him again , he is a dancer good job bro
