- Strategy is a huge part of strongman. Being strong and physically able is a must, but the strongest guys can often lose to athletes who are smarter or more prepared. With an axle clean and press each rep, being fast and efficient with a continental clean is priority number one. This is my strategy for cycling through reps quicker.

Problem is that I don't have a power belly to rest the axle on
There's a lot of really good MW and LW guys that are shredded who can continental very well. While the power belly helps, it certainly isn't mandatory. Just have to lean back and pull the axle back into you.
@AlexanderBromley also nice we have belt cleans allowed now finally that was a dumb rule in my opinion.
What diameter is that bar? I got a solid axle which is smooth as hell and so hard to grip, im sure mine is like 60mm thick too
