PC building has remained pretty much the same for several years now, I think this is a great turning point and a step forward. I hope all other brands start this design soon.
i think its good and bad. If they move the cpu, motherboard, and gpu cables in the front and leave the rest in the back it would make it look like a regular pc but MUCH easier to use and mod
Just saw this video (and channel) for the first time. I'm happy I came across this channel because I live around Louisville. I'll have to stop by your store sometime!
I love the way the GPU gets its extra power, and I hope it becomes a standard. If Asus doesn't get greedy and makes royalty free, there shouldn't be anything stopping it from becoming the standard.
Looks nice. I would hope there would be some builds for the fancy types but not everybody try to make their own Motherboards for this to the exclusions of others.
9:35 Uh yeah, even before all the Asus warranty scandal, I remembered back in around 2013 way before people talking about how bad their support is I had a gtx 580 and an laptop I sent for repairs that were within the warranty period and they gave me the exact same "steve treatment" of please pay amount or we'll send it disassembled.
The downside of a non widely adopted format is you are stuck with the same company. I'm not a fan of not having the option to bypass the BTF option makes harder to sell off. somewhere in the middle having all those annoying connections in the back is fine. Leave the GPU and CPU connections in the front.
I wish I could go without cables, I still have IDE drives that still work, but not in use now. I never throw away any PC parts until it is no longer working. Also have all new tech. A 3970x 4070 super, 4tb m.2
are the btf connectors standardised or are they proprietary? basically what i'm asking is is the power delivery connector on the front of the motherboard a thing that will fit with other brands' cards like that, or just specifically ASUS
I play Digital Combat Simulator. DCS is pretty popular. Have you looked into it and what would be a good build for it? Also DCS runs great at 60 FPS believe it or not. So to be sure how about something capable of 60-100 FPS? Thanks.
Biggest problem with this is it would force me to buy 2 products from Asus when I don't want to buy 1. Plus what do you do with the GPU after you upgrade? Going to be very difficult to re-sell.
And what if I use some ordinary graphics card in this new standard motherboard and just route PCI-E cables from the the power supply to the card. Will it work like usual?
i am heveing an iseu cuz i am trying to built a pc and i dont care if i have to built it my self but the point is thea i live in sloveina and ur 1000dollar built recmandation would cost me 1150 euro trusting the scary websides just for the price and the pre-built ppl only give me 4060 for my 1000euro buget so what should i do (also i am looking for an monitor 1440p 144-170hz for 160-190euro i can secrefise the delayand size can be 24") and i am useing it for adobie program handeling if that helps in any way. What should i do?
Ouch over 2k for a 4070 build 😂 well I guess that's what happens when you choose Aesthetics over price to performance don't be an idiot always go price to Performance
8:51 "You can basically finish"
"I could just-" that awkward moment 😂
yeah he looked so angry, why😂?
I finished...not sure about Matt.....
"Asus....moving cables to the back"....so you cant see the fire. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
That "Whaaaattt" was great
I think this is a step forward in pc building, something that should be adopted by all manufacturers.
I like the look of a fancy computer but spend little to no time looking at it. I'm to busy using it.
Hi guys Im from Portugal and I learned a lot with you guys thanks 🙃
i just love the new mainboard concept from. Asus Great JOB Asus
We leaving out the expensive fancy motherboard cable extensions with this one 🗣
Zach tech turf got cooked by his own viewer bcz of that lol
Love the BTF look, it looks so clean.
That bulbasaur hoodie kinda clean tho 😮

A step in the right direction. So nice and clean
That is one amazing PC, crazy how there is possibly a future where there could potentially be not to many wires to connect or see
Just saw this video (and channel) for the first time. I'm happy I came across this channel because I live around Louisville. I'll have to stop by your store sometime!
Should have laid off using so much Asus crap until they sort out there warrenty scams etc..
PCIE power should be on every GPU and motherboard even budget ones.. and please can you do a power draw comparison between BTF GPU and regular one

I love Cabels.
You should get married.
Sicko
@@ronniemoysey8854 What does that even mean? 😭
@@alsnow7023 Fair enough.
puzzled why this wasnt done years ago when windowed cases and rgb fans became a thing but its a step in the right direction for astetics
My preference is that both power options be present on the video card. One be hidden and the other retracts.

It's one of the cleanest all white builds I've seen.
love it!!! I wish my white ROG STRIX build looked this clean, but its close...
Heck yeah. This is a clean built, love it. Just the price that I'm concerned about, for beginner level like me. If not love it.
Just saw this pc when i was there friday. Told my friend to buy it for me. Neither of us could afford that lol.
Beautiful PC. but i think the cables if managed right look great!
Until Asux proves that they've changed I will be holding off on giving them money.
My build was in the Lian li a3 , great case , but cables are everywhere 😂.
Took me right out of the reels rabbit hole I was in.
that looks sick. well done.

We also wana keep the wired ATX version for older computers.
Not hard to store caables correctly.
That’s a good employee right there
I got windows 11 pro key off groupon for 13$.. i like this build
One day we are going to look back, and laugh, and say remember when we used to use cables. lol
are the btf connectors standardised or are they proprietary? basically what i'm asking is

Not a fan of the cables coming out 90 degrees. Especially the ARGB since those as usually a bit lose anyway.
once again. i get food and sit down and they posted! nice
“You can basically just finish.” “😳”
I do like that pcie release button^^
Also i like those RGB splitters, you dont want to go TOO advanced with those daizychain thingies.
1440p just my 1st 1440p monitor(msi) it's awesome-toasty bros looks like a bunch of champs now lol
I’ve always hated the GPU sleeve cables. They are always an eyesore and just feel like the pin connector location was awful.
Asus had an adapter for gpu power at computex
No cables means no repairs as in NOT ABLE TO BE REPAIRED?

I am not sure about this new standard. I still mourn the loss of ISA sockets 😀

Here waiting for the next upload to be a beamng build 🙏
Love this channel
they are getting creative in every video 😂
this is the earliest I've been to a video
As before, there is an "outrage" of wires behind the motherboard... innovation.
Clean
Can you guys review the acer nitro v15
Rtx 4050
i5 13420H
I really don't get this trend. "Let's surround the computer with glass, but make sure you hide all the computer bits."
Skill issue
Love that
tubeless aio when ;D
Asus is the only concern I have about it.
whats headphones/headset they are using on the benchmarks?
Do you need to use a rgb controller for the fans?
Toasty bros fr
Hiiiii
i have a small budget and hope you can help me
I have a ryzen 7 7800x3d with a 3060 ti is it worth it to upgrade to a 4070?
cable extensions are better
