Man, seeing you get the clock rates you did makes me jealous lol I just redid my overclock for my 3060 and got +110 Core and +1100 Mem Clocks, which is still amazing for me considering this was my first real attempt at overclocking fully instead of getting impatient. I also had the ability to increase my power limit and temp limit to 141% and 90 degrees respectively. After testing stability (And mainly trying to see if I could break 10k score for 1440p no DLSS, only got to 9992 sadly), I threw on Diablo 4 which was giving me frame and GPU issues and it was like night and day. I can now play at a more consistent 110-120 fps instead of wildly fluctuating between 70-120 fps. So thank you for the explanations! I don't think I'm going to try undervolting just yet, but I will likely use this video to take a crack at it if I do!
@@Tech-Profis Unfortunately, the clocks proved to be unstable in the end. The benchmarks were a bit generous in what it allowed me to get away with, but actual usage caused anything from game crashing to my entire computer crashing. At this point I have it at +80 and +800, and so far this has been the most stable.
it is not enough ... i was thinking the same things but NVIDIA just add 140Mhz and temperature are bad. Just an observation, i use MSI AF again now. Nvidia overclock veryyyyyy littly 0.7% tested on bench. What is your result ? (i have the 3060 / 12go btw)
I have same gpu i want safe and recommended value for oc and undervolting plzz suggest i dont play casually but play sometime like heavy games and some fps games
Hello, a month or so ago I overclocked my 3060 with gforce experience and I it increased the frequency 100Mhz. The fact is that I formatted the PC and overclocked it again but this time it went up 165MHz and now when I play Fortnite it goes to 2040 MHz and vedles i think the frecuency was of 1900 and I also do notice that it sounds louder. I would like to know if you recommend removing the overclok or doing it again to see if it rises less or just leaving it that way. The temperature is honestly has not changed quite much (in game doesn’t pass 70 degrees) Thancks😊
Benchmark tools I have found will generally give you your best stable OC/UV combo, I managed to get mine +240CC/+1400MC with a UV of about 925mV (down from 956mV). This was stable on benchmarks and seemed fine but I found I couldn't get more than 10 minutes out of DOOM Eternal (DE) without crashing. I'm now in the process of tuning it down but it looks like I can get 2hrs+ without crashing on DE if I remove the UV if I'm lucky and temps still barely ever go above 65C without the fans on 100% all the time which isn't too bad either. Discounting the crashes, very noticeable framerate increase for sure, about 70-100FPS, which doesn't reall matter for me because it was already running consistently above 144FPS before OC at about 190FPS on HD which is max resolution for my moniter, however now I can maintain above that number with fully maxxed out graphics between 200 and 300FPS with just eyeballing the in game stats measurements during gameplay. I dont think DE is the most taxing game, so can't wait to get Black Monkey: Wukong and see how it performs on that. I used the benchmark tool that GameScience released on steam for the game and it already looks promising, went from barely over 60FPS with lows in the high 20s/low 30s minimum 1/5 FPS on a mix of medium/high/cinematic (overall probably high-ish graphics settings) pre-OC, to average close to 90FPS, minimum 1/5 FPS in low 70s/high 60s, not once dropping below 60. I was then able to sustain an average of around 70 with mins in the low 50s when I started turning graphics up closer to cinematic which I feel is pretty decent for a 3060 card, which overall is pretty average/not the best as far as 60 and 3000 series Nvidia cards go for gaming. From the benchmark settings I was able to keep the frequencies, just had to reduce the UV to 937MV instead of 925MV. I know thats a benchmark as well so will most likely have to move around a bit once in game, but hopefully will be somewhere close to that. Either way I'm thinking I should hopefully be able to get around +200CC/+1000MC with a decent UV for good mix of stability/performance/power and temperature control. Thanks for the video, helped a lot.
I have a 3060 with a 5600x I play helldivers battlefield warzone and space marine and star citizen as well as video editing for work with Davinci any recommendations for settings? I've overclocked a handful of times before and successfully got 27 more fps on several games before crashing the pc opening side windows of youtube email and folder but didn't think I should do so again out of concern from people saying it destroys gpus.
Medion Erazer prebuilt desktop with RTX3060 12gb I5 12400F 16gb 3200mhz win.11 In some games at max settings it gets a bit hot(i think, dont know what max heat Celsius os bad)But 87Celsius in games like Cyberpunk2077 and its a bit high in Degreeds t think or is it? So if i undervolt and nothing else will i loose alot of performance? Undervolt temps,Will it do a big difference to run cooler or isnt it a big difference at all? (would be great to lower the temp as much as possible,The fans sounds alot on this PC).. Thanks 4 video

Try undervolting maybe you will then crack it

Well in the long run it may degrade your hardware
What do you recommend if pair with a ryzen 5 5600g
It depends bro what are you doing
