Thanks for posting. Lover your tips including getting on and off. I am struggling with the "snap" require to raise and lower the rudder. 70 years old and you give me motivation to continue fishing with my Lynx!

I have the same problem with the rudder. I'm 78 and fill every bit of it after a day on the water. I have set a 5-hour limit on the water just to keep from staying all day.

Ralph, thanks for your response. Last Saturday while fishing on a river in NE Oklahoma, hit some limbs and flipped my Lynx twice within 20 minutes! Only dignity and pride injured but lost pedal drive. Going back to look for it this weekend. Thanks for you videos, love them!

brilliant! thanks for making that vid. I have an SUV so got to get the kayak on the roof. just didn't want to spend 800+ dollars for one of the retail kayak loaders on the market

I had made a very similar cart. I load and unload it into my van. Works great.

When unloading from your truck and you put your cart on how to you get it to stay in? Mine would fall right out. Also at the ramp you didn't show removing the cart. Do you just let them drop in the water? If so and they stay in guess you have to pull them out.

Thanks for the question. The wheelset has a keeper on it that keeps it in place until you get it on the ground. Once I get the kayak in the water I pull the keeper, then lift the kayak and the wheelset falls out. I can store it behind the seat or put it in my truck. Thanks for watching.

Hey Ralph, Not sure what your age is but I'm 76, ran into some health issue back in 2020. Started kayaking and everything has improved nicely. I still have balance issues. I have a Hobie Lynx also.

Hi Steve, Thanks for watching my video and responding. I'm 77 years old and have some health issues also. I love the Lynx as it is very stable, however I don't stand as I have the same balance issues as you do. I love that the kayak allows me to get off the bank.
      Thanks again for watching.

After catching the fish I show how I unload at the lake. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to set up and get in the water. Thanks for the question.

I suspect that carpet will scratch the bottom of your Lynx over time.

I coated the kayak with a product called 303 and it slides on and off easily. Thanks for the comment.
