James has to be the best car content creators there is. The variety and sheer passion alone has him at the top of his game! Its not just content, its an experience with James.
It seems strange to make this comment from Arizona, but as I’ve toured it and met my extended family, you are using the verbiage of my people there in that wonderful beast of a truck. Your editor and drone operator has done wonderful work capturing the breathtaking landscape. Can’t wait for the McLaren first drive James. Cheers.
THIS is the kind of content I love the most. Not the flexing or hearing about what’s to come or building the brand. I want to see cars being used to their potential and this cinematic style is top notch. More please!
Love that vehicle, and that interior is something else all together. Just beautiful! This man just keeps bringing it to the table, over and over and over again! Great job with this one James👏
I have a 2013 110. I did a sound insulation stage 1 and stage 2 on floors, roof, doors , side walls. Then I had the car trimmer put in a good quality marine carpet through-out. The sound insulation you can do yourself. The carpet leave for the professional. I know you can get something from Exmoor, but to get it down really well you still need a trimmer. I paid AU$ 1750 (about GBP 850 / U$ 1220) for marine carpet fully installed and could choose between numerous colours. Front floor, seat box, rear passenger, cargo floor and side walls. Not only is it a lot quieter, the standard supplied speakers now sound a lot better too as the sound does n't bounce of the hard surfaces. Make sure you put sound insulation behind the speakers in the back.
Its good to see a Land Rover on the channel. We have owned one when we lived abroad; loved the ride over rough roads. Only dislike was the rate of wear of the suspension bushes.
Always nice seeing my home. Glen Etive this time of year is stunning. Maybe one day you’ll take it off road 😂👍 it’s a proper bit of kit that yes if you lived at the end of a Glen and could get snowed in
And people wonder why I drive a Defender 110. That car is given me the most Hygge of any car I ever owned, easily beating my audis and bmws I have owned. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the Q7 and X5, but nothing puts a bigger smile on my face than my 110. It will be with me until my end of days.
my lightly modded Defender is the family favourite. Bilstein lowered "road" shocks, springs and antiroll bars, decent wider wheels and tyres, LED lights & headlights and some power upgrades. Perfect accompaniment to the Porsches and the daily drive A6 all-road for Perthshire hose-out interior for dogs and after-hike mud! (or carrying spares, oily bits, bikes etc)
I bought a imported vintage Jeep wrangler with a lifting kit and it's amazing! Would love to modernise the Inside a little but all in good time 🤣 safe to say I get a few looks in my jacked up jeep! Yours is immense 😍
Yeah but the new g wagon offers more in terms of what u find awesome in this car, ruggedness on the outside and refinment on the inside, its miles ahead in terms of luxury on the inside, when you go offroad and u are in this kind of comfort, expensive leather big screens, awesome ambient lighting, 360 cameras, it feels otherworldly
4:39 Great review James and congratulations on a beautiful purchase. A ‘TRANSFER BOX with LSD’ tuned to oversized tyres is very interesting and impressive what transfer box has used to replaced the LT230? Thanks
Good choice of location James. The car looks good.... stick with the tyres...it would look nothing with road tyres. You appear to have a trade plate in the back window....not registered yet?
Would have loved to seen more offroad action by the Landy instead of roads where a mondeo could drive but hopefully in the future :) lovely motor and love the specs :)
Awesome machine I have a ranger wildrtrak that’s lifted and widened I use for laning I get what ya mean about the hight and presence looking forward to more content with ya truck

Never has there been a more eloquent automotive journalist. Absolutely phenomenal.

You never disappoint!
Quality...not quantity....
Great pace on the video, epic sound/music. Top of the game.
Love that vehicle, and that interior is something else all together. Just beautiful! This man just keeps bringing it to the table, over and over and over again! Great job with this one James👏
Hello love the videos and love that you have brought an off-road vehicle to the channel. A big jump from the normal cars you buy.

Sounds so quiet inside the cabin! I have a 2014 110 and the road background noise is loud. Your Defender looks awesome. Hats off.

Beautiful landscape and awesome Defender. 👍
Drone shots are beautiful 👍👍

Great to meet you today James… what a beautiful car and location!
Always nice seeing my home. Glen Etive this time of year is stunning. Maybe one day you’ll take it off road 😂👍 it’s a proper bit of kit that yes if you lived at the end of a Glen and could get snowed in
Love Glen Etive. Glad it's just up the road 🙂
What a great road for the defender! Been on it with a GT3! Not so good! Health to Enjoy
That’s my dream vehicle, absolutely gorgeous and will go anywhere 👍🇬🇧
Excellent. I have done the same with my Discovery 1.
Wow Mr Jww..... This is absolutely top drawer!!!!! The car, the surroundings and the cinematography!!! OUTSTANDING!!!! Well done!!! 🙏😁👌
Kind of like the word gemütlich in german. lovely to meet you, Thor
The combination of this amazing editing and James is👌
Good morning James Love the car ,great video see you soon!🤔 GUMBALL in Bonnie Scotland's regards alan
Cracking opening sequence👍
Love the Defender, had a 110 back in 2013 and regret selling it. This, alongside a GT3 touring might be close to my perfect 2 car garage.
Yes, it is definitely hygge. Greetings from Denmark✌️
Pretty capable machine, On pavement!
The mountain crawling defender is top notch
That does indeed look like a hyggelig trip, what a car!
Awesome stuff amazing defender loving the Optimill removable steering wheel !!👌👊
my lightly modded Defender is the family favourite. Bilstein lowered "road" shocks, springs and antiroll bars, decent wider wheels and tyres, LED lights & headlights and some power upgrades. Perfect accompaniment to the Porsches and the daily drive A6 all-road for Perthshire
hose-out interior for dogs and after-hike mud! (or carrying spares, oily bits, bikes etc)
That scenery👀
🤤🤤🤤
Wonder how a 110 crew cab would look?, this Defender is the family car that gets handed down, generation to generation.
I bought a imported vintage Jeep wrangler with a lifting kit and it's amazing! Would love to modernise the Inside a little but all in good time 🤣 safe to say I get a few looks in my jacked up jeep! Yours is immense 😍
Hell yeah bro thank for sharing. ❤🇬🇧
As a Dane I was surprised by you talking about HYGGE 😂🇩🇰
Your only true purpose vehicle for every day use whenever whereever
That's a badasssss rig!!!! I love it
A great car for the team Galag snowtour
Just being able to build your own car is a cool thing 😎👍
Amazing to see a roadtrip with that beast 🔥🔥
More defender action please James... Fantastic motor 🥰
James this calls for a road trip from Las Vegas F1 Gran Prix to Jackson Hole, Wyoming enjoy the Rockies here in the USA 🇺🇸 that machine will fit in
Great intro
Love the aerial shots.
DJI Zenmuse X5R?
You need to bring the DDE chaps over and take them on those beautiful roads..
Haha - Mr. JWW needs to drive a full sized pickup on logging/oil field roads in northern Canada. You get that feeling all the time. 😊
Hygge is good, regards from Denmark 🙂
Awesome vehicle, wish I had it, would come handy on my mountain adventures 😁 fantastic scenery and shots 😍

Hygge actually really translates do the Dutch word "gezellig". Funny I learned it here, didn't know this before now
Looks great. Can someone help me understand this vehicle? Is this a new defender retromoded out or is this a modified older vehicle has new bits?
Love the car but "hygge" was said a bit wrong and fun way for an danish ;)
Good choice of location James.
The car looks good.... stick with the tyres...it would look nothing with road tyres.
You appear to have a trade plate in the back window....not registered yet?

It’s interesting to see who owns JE Engineering at companies house ! Basically another advert ? Can we have some honesty on this channel ? Please ❤
It would have been nice to know a bit more about where you can buy one, and how much they would cost. Lovely video, great content. 👍👍👍
Would have loved to seen more offroad action by the Landy instead of roads where a mondeo could drive but hopefully in the future :) lovely motor and love the specs :)

Awesome car James 🔥👌
what is the maximum height for the water crossing, as it does not have the tube?
My dream beast with best mod....😍😍
Dream car🤙🏽❤️
This thing is wild! We've got some pretty crazy Land Rovers in the pipe line 👀
Nice video but how about actually taking it off road. Or is it just another Chelsea 4x4?
