Well, no hunter sets out to not get an ethical quick kill, but sometimes it happens. I haven't met a hunter yet who hasn't felt horrible when this happens, and have empathy for the animal. We definitely try to learn from it and do everything not to repeat it. 🤷

Good thing coyotes didn't show up and run him out of the country. Probably a liver hit.
