That was an awesome hunt. I can't believe it all came together. Then, the camera shots!!! There must have been 4 different angles on the kill shot. Add to that the buck stopped perfectly in the open and you slung a text book hit on him. Man.. I have been waiting for your next youtube post and you did not disappoint.

One of my stands on one of my leases in Kansas is literally 150 yards from a road. I can watch the cars drive by from my tree and its the best stand i got there. The deer cross the road and come right down the main cow trials.

I think T-Bone shot a buck from a silo blind, if I'm not mistaken. Like you said sometimes you don't have to go deep in the woods. Nice buck congratulations.

I agree with the whole you dont have to go deep in the middle of the woods to find deer in the mid west. I live in Springfield missouri area and hunt about an hour north around stockton lake. I will say that right now I am hunting deep in the middle of a huge conservation area cuz there is a monster that is living in it and it's the only place I have seen him during the day. he is a very smart old buck but I'm sure I will get him before season is over lol.
Wish I could get a monster buck to stop broadside at 18-20 yards! He said “ you on him?” Yup that trigger was punched immediately upon hearing the beginning of yup. 10 ring baby

Because this doesn’t even compare to actual hunters on RUclips like hunting public, born and raise etc. This is plot sitting on highly managed properties that 99 percent of people will never have the option to hunt and do not relate to. Don't be a moron. People say that about every successful hunt these guys do. They would be paying 10s of thousands of dollars a year for all of those big deer. They are not fenced in. I know guys who kill deer that size every year on their own land. It's called management, time, scouting, work!

Humm let me go through my buck menu and pick the one I want, then let me see all of them on the same hunt , then let me do a terrible calling sequence that would scare away most deer, then let my buck catch me picking my bow up off the hanger and stop for a perfect 15-20 yard shot.
