I’ve heard crazy deer survival/ will to live stories but had never experienced one until the other week. I was out scouting and checking cameras when my buddy called me saying “i smoked a buck”. During this same phone call, he saw the buck walk back, arrow still in him right behind the shoulder, slight quartering away, and eventually the buck walked off. We gave the deer an hour when I went to meet my buddy. On the walk in, i crossed the buck’s blood trail. We back tracked the blood to the stand and felt really great about the hit after seeing what we saw. We backed out for another hour (2hrs total) and went back in. We followed consistent blood for awhile. Eventually, it got to a point that it was obvious the buck was still alive. The next morning, we got a dog on the track and the deer was another 100yds away but was definitely still alive the night before. Buck was hit just like my buddy said. Right behind the shoulder, just above the heart on a slight quarter away. The exit was perfect. Just an amazing will to live and all hats off to that buck. The only thing i can think happened is that the deer didn’t run off like crazy after being hit. He was very nonchalant which may have caused him to save energy and oxygen. Other than that, i got nothing.
GREAT WORK guys. Fantastic footage and heart pounding reality.Keep up the fight to the right to do this in all the states.Shot deers should not go to waste by dying somewhere where the hunters cant find them.
High over the shoulder, bleeds like crazy, but not lethal. It takes approximately a 40% blood loss for the wound to be lethal. He's already clotting up and should be fine barring some sort of infection.
Hey man, I love what you are doing, I know you are making many ppl happy for sure! I looked at the Drones you have listed but..... the Price is extreme for someone on Disability, Im Not saying they are over priced at all, its just too much for this old broke arse! lol Do you know of any other drones that can do the same thing but isn't too Pricey ? I have any original Autel, so I checked them out and found One that has some of the same features as your do but are a lot cheaper, yeah I know You get what you pay for. lol Autel has always did me right. I Bought a refurbished Drone and the Main board was screwed up and it just dropped out of the sky at 400'. They replaced everything that was broken and put in a New motherboard so it was like a New drone when I got it back! Im close to buying one from them, any input would be very welcome. Thanks
On the last one shot with the crossbow and the rage broadheads, It would be interesting to know if a crossbow can shoot fast enough, to push a bolt through with enough speed that the broadhead does not have enough time to open immediately on impact.
You're absolutely on to something.. My brother was using a cross bow that shot over 400 feet per second and shot 5 deer using the rage and only found 2 of them.. 1 had a 3 inch hole the other one had only like a bullet hole but it had been hit through the heart.. After having so much bad luck with recoveries he switched to the slick tricks fixed blade with great success.
We use dogs for deer recovery in Oklahoma. We have had a few instances where a mechanical broadhead does not deploy correctly, even with a compound bow. I dont really think it is a speed issue. Again, they are mechanical and things can go wrong. What we see the most is hunters trying to shoot through the scapula with a mechanical broadhead. They just arent designed for that.
Those are all very nice bucks, I would take most of those if I had the opportunity. But just imagine if as a whole we all started passing up these caliper bucks. We get too excited over 3 1/2 year old bucks.
Keep showing this stuff guys. These government agencies need to see it to realize there is a need to use drones to recover these deer. Yes it is hard to see deer suffering but it is a reality of hunting and may make hunters more selective with their shot opportunities.
No people need to learn to be better hunters. It's part of the process. If you can't swallow that then you shouldn't be hunting. You shouldn't be out there flinging lead or arrows because he there's a drone to find it. Drones do no belong in the hunting process at all.
It’s the reality of hunting. In the past we didn’t have the technology to see these scenarios. Maybe it’s a good thing. Maybe it means our modern fancy equipment isn’t actually the most practical. Plus people need to see reality not hide from it, and that’s going for many topics in life
Then don't be a pussy? You're a hunter and ur upset that u saw that the deer u failed to kill was still alive snd suffering? Maybe seeing such an image will make u appreciate hunting more. The circle of life should NEVER be censored.
Quit advertising your drones without specifying if you need a license to operate them many states you need to take a class or you can receive a felony charge and possibly a federal charge
This was a wild day

Awesome videos. Keep up the great work! Merry Christmas
Was good, Mike. I'm one of Braden price subscribers. And I just subscribe to your channel. Looking forward to good contact
Every deer you find is maimed or dying in pain. The greens in Australia would have a field day with your footage
Great work guys
Loved this long video. Thank you
Same
Wow so cool. Would love to do this as a service to other hunters.
Would that give results like this? Wonder if it’s legal to do this in ny.

Love the channel! Keep it up!

Anything on Michigan drone deer recovery
Great video

The arrow was still in Maddison’s deer if you look you can see it sticking out
What drone did you switch to and what drone was he using at 1st? Or was it same drones and just a different cameras? If so what cameras?
🙏🏼

Sad to see as an archery hunter how many deer are being wounded. Ive been there tho. Some live some die from infection.
How many hours after was Madison‘s number three buck? because they just watched him die!
It seems your system would benefit fire and rescue

@@TheEverLovingOutdoors drones arent being used in the "hunting" process. Theyre being used in the recovery process. Major difference.
@@toddchester5966 please don't reproduce. You think tracking deer is not part of the process 🤣
Buy the warranty on the generators
New Philadelphia?
Sheesh, pre-drone ignorance was bliss.
What is jays RUclips channel
I see why they think you're hunting with a drone. You're showing a lot of deer that they would never known about.
These hunters need to learn were the sweet spots are they are seeing brown and letting go and that’s wrong
Why they have drones for back up. No need to be a better hunter 😂
I wouldn't show wounded deer, only show deer that you have recovered. Too many people get upset when they see a wounded deer that is suffering.
It’s the reality of hunting. In the past we didn’t have the technology to see these scenarios. Maybe it’s a good thing. Maybe it means our modern fancy equipment isn’t actually the most practical. Plus people need to see reality not hide from it, and that’s going for many topics in life
I definitely see your point.

Just stop crying it's really easy
If I do bye a drone can I make payments to you until I pay it off
Quit advertising your drones without specifying if you need a license to operate them many states you need to take a class or you can receive a felony charge and possibly a federal charge
Quit complaining that's not his responsibility that's the folks who's buying.
@markedwards6106 No, that is his responsibility because he is the one selling the drones
@dylanmiller-yf8bo 🤣🤣 nope you're responsible for your own actions but here we r in 2023 it's everyone else's fault 🤦♂️
@@markedwards6106 glad you said it lmao 😂 people these days
I would think it would be the person buying the drone to find out if they need a license to operate in their state not the sellers
Rage broad heads are junk! I recovered deer look like it was shot with field point. Blades barely cut.
It's all the Rage! 😂😂😂
Nonsense. I’ve seen more wounded by fixed (especially Muzzy) than with rages. By far.
The story doesn't make sense properly
@@theboomeroutdoorsman1379 yeah

The end result of shit shots.
As usual, wildlife being wounded by arrows. Bow hunting should be illegal.
