    I appreciate the fact that you show all this stuff in that because it's real life stuff. This is what happens to most of us. Bad shots. Can't find our deer search and search but nobody wants to show that or share it because they're ashamed of it. But that's why I don't give anybody shit. I thank you guys all right man. Keep at it. Thank you

    No one takes to the field with any intention of these results. I’m on the fence about showing this content. Been hunting for years and met many anti hunting folks. I do believe that the service you provide is valid. Good luck with your business in the future. I’ll keep watching. 👍

    All the people talking about how you have no experience or havent practiced enough if you gut shot or didnt hit your intended spot you aimed, truly havent hunted much, missing your intended spot of impact happens to ALL hunters from time to time, congrats to the hunter for taking the time to go out and actually hunt instead of just sitting on your couch talking crap to people that are actually out in the field putting in the work.

    Mike, try to take the high road when it comes to these gut shot deer. As, a hunter, I think these type of videos turn people off or against you! We know this is a business and you’re providing assistance to the hunters, however some folks need to practice, practice and then practice more. Thanks for sharing

    I know it sucks loosing deer 🦌 and finding them later than when you expected to find them. I shot a nice big 6 point buck during the rut of the early archery season here in upstate new york where I live and when I shot my arrow nicked a small branch and hit a little back to where I got one lung and liver and I went back the following morning to pick up last blood and search for 5 hours a never found my deer 🦌. I wish we were allowed to use drones here in New York because it would be so much easier to recover deer.

    Gut shot Deer tend to go to Water. With the legalizing of Tracking Dogs. Recovery's are Up here in Okieville. What normally would have been lost. Is now being found. Very few fit to eat but found none the less.

    Coyotes most likely ran that big 10 down. Doesn’t seem like buzzards would’ve eaten that much of him. I agree that the skin was only cut so most likely coyotes got him.

    Spectacular work on finding trophy deer. To bad it isn't legal in NY from what I have been told. Keep up the good work.

    Did coyotes get on it or was that all buzzard damage on the rear-end. Wondering if coyotes caught it and finished him off. Great job on the finds.

    In the UK we would follow up with a dog and a rifle if we knew where a wounded deer was. Im surprised you don't do this instantly in the US when finding a wounded deer.

  • @jamesash5792

    They have to tag those? Or just removing racks?? 🧐

    • @dronedeerrecovery
      @dronedeerrecovery  5 дней назад +1

      If the buck expires they will have to tag it. Thats part of this business, making sure wounded deer don't go to waste... dying and the hunter not being able to recover it.

    I was told by a game warden you were not aloud to cut the head off of a dead deer that you had to have the whole carcass. What do you know about that?

    • @strutnutcustomcalls6938
      @strutnutcustomcalls6938 9 месяцев назад +5

      Depends on the state but usually if the deer is bad you can keep the head but you have to tag it.

  • @johnbeechy2913

    What I have seen about these wide, mechanical, broad heads, if anything goes wrong, they hit a branch etc. or the edge of the Deer‘s body. They are more likely to bounce off and not go directly through the body of the animal, because of the wide cut and mechanical opening Tends to shove the tip of the arrow around. I have heard of this at least 15 years ago plus. And that’s why I have stayed with stationary three blade Broadhead most of the time in my hunting career.

    Gut shots happen, hard to find without a dog or drone, but not impossible . If you bowhunt long enough it WILL happen to you. 🫣

    I would like to see how little thee guys practice being that they both are missing their shot by 2 or more feet. i dont miss that much within 80 yards as a new hunter with cheap bow. because i understand my responsibility to make a good shot o my deer. people if you arent 100 percent sure in your shot dont take it

    DEER ARE SOME OF THE TUFFEST ANIMALS I HUNT

  • @dthambrose
    @dthambrose 8 месяцев назад

    Raised on the farm and we harvested our animals we're also hunters. Of course you always strive for a clean humane kill, but things happen that is understood. But when we have the technology to find and end an animal suffering and are not allowed to use that it's just not right.
