  • Welcome to Redemption For A Hunter, where we showcase the innovative and ethical practice of Drone Deer Recovery. In this episode, we follow a hunter on his quest to recover a deer he had previously shot, but was unable to locate on foot. With the help of a drone equipped with thermal imaging technology, the hunter and our team are able to successfully recover the deer and provide closure to both the hunter and the animal.
With drone technology, hunters can now reduce the likelihood of leaving wounded animals behind and can more effectively and efficiently recover game.

I’m super happy for him to get his redemption. That is an incredible buck! Would be hard to top it…lol.
I’m sure all those naysayers never missed or wounded a deer…smh.
It happens to the best of the best & that’s part of it. It’s unfortunate when it happens, but it DOES happen.
I very much enjoyed the video!

Why didn't you just go recover the deer if you saw that you hammered him with a great shot before the coyotes got to him? Great buck!!! Why bother calling for a drone? I would think that would be a last resort if you couldn't find him. Probably ain't cheap.

How’s flying over other peoples land work? I shot a deer on our property and he jumped the fence, neighbor wouldn’t give us permission to go look. Tom Devlin is a rich rich man, possibly on Forbes. Scared he would go after us. He invites politics from all over the country to come hunt by our land.

      It’s called evolution of technology.
Just because he thought he made a great shot & seen blood gushing isn’t 100%.
He did the wise thing by backing out. What if he was still alive and he bumped him out of his bed? I personally think this DDR is the future.

This is what is wrong with hunting in today's world. More excited about the horns and cape than what hunting is supposed to be, providing for your family! Don't get me wrong everyone goes after horns. A true hunter has more respect for the animals than saying this is all that matters as your holding on the horns! Drone recovery you are amazing.
