Nice work. I wish Tx would allow deer recovery. I do lost pets and people but cant do deer
Do you do it as a full time job or a side hustle? I’d like to start a pet rescue business, just not sure how much demand there would be.
@@ryanbradshaw8878 Not a lot of demand. I have done a few for local lost and found pet groups but it isn't enough to keep any where near busy. Real Estate, Construction progression, Promotional ads, etc etc are mainly what I do. I am retired and stay as busy as I want.
Texas is a great state for deer recovery

They are Newfoundland and their sire Zeke is HUGE. Their mom Dakota is bigger than she looks in the video. I've been to their farm a few times. I actually got the black pup in this video her name is Salem
Outstanding brother. You should give your info to the local sheriffs in case they have missing persons. There has been several incidents over the last few years where young kids and were lost and one time I think a special needs kid wandered off into the woods. This drone could save a life easily👍🇺🇸

Oh my god what an amazing video and story. Im a part 107 pilot in Atlanta and Id love to do this kind of work. I know theres two guys currently doing this in our drone group so Ive reached out to them but if you guys supply equipment and leads Id love the opportunity to fly for you guys.

2 innocent, young lives saved. There r people that think that the drone is taking it too far & giving the hunters TOO MUCH of an advantage. The drone is more ethical than all the cameras out there. Great story & it should go a long way. There's a need for drones & not just for war.😢

I wanted to get into the deer recovery business with you guys, but it’s illegal in MO. Talked with the conservation department and they said the only way to legally use a drone for deer is if you KNOW the deer is dead. My response was, “that’s impossible to know since the hunter doesn’t know where it is!” They didn’t respond… I am interested in doing this for lost pets like this video though…

@@ironsmithindustries3761 Yep, here is their response to my email…
“Thank you for contacting the Missouri Department of Conservation. The use of a drone on Conservation Areas is not allowed. On private property, if the deer is wounded and the drone is trying to pursue it, that is a violation. Using thermal while hunting is a violation, if the deer is being tracked and the location is relayed to the hunter that is a violation. If the deer is dead and the drone located the dead deer, that is not a violation. However, the deer must absolutely be dead before using a drone to find it if it is not and the deer is located and still alive you would be in violation.”
That needs to be changed to you can use a drone to locate and recover a deer but cannot pursuit if deer is alive when found. Or they could make a program to certify people that have a legitimate business to be able to use drones to recover game, so not anyone can use there drone only certified people can. It makes no since not to use this technology to recover and/or put the wounded animal down, since most of the time they will die of infection and in that state they are very prone to disease which we know is an increasing problem in MO.
