Just in case any of you aren't already in there and would like to be, the code to join the HITC Sevens Fantasy Premier League mini league is:
    fv2hbf
It's a strong league, so anywhere in the top 5,000 is a respectable finish - or at least, that's what I told myself last season.

Brilliant player who’s career was ruined by a late tackle in the 93rd minute of a game already won by some talentless hacker who took out his frustration on Diabys leg. Never recovered. A good inclusion would have been Ryan Meara. Had 1 season as the first choice GK for the NY Redbulls in 2012. He got injured, and his “temporary” replacement went on to start nearly every league game for the next 6 seasons breaking the MLS record for consecutive league appearances with 183. Excluding appearances in the PDL (an amateur/ semi-professional league) early in his career, Meara has made 35 appearances for the Redbulls first team from that first season and the odd cup match over the years, 30 for the Redbulls reserve team in the USL championship (US second division) and 1 appearance on loan. 66 total appearances over 10 years. Still at the club today, hes a fan favorite despite his lack of games. A New York Native, he’s seen as a loyal, blue collar professional, more than capable of occupying the number 1 shirt, who has been unfortunate to have been at the club at the same time as one of the all time great MLS goalkeepers.

An integral part of the scheme is for the player to have a stint in one of the "big 12" clubs in Brazilian football on his CV. With that he is ready to go through several teams, play 1 or 2 bad matches, earn months of salary and go cheating on another club...

Pulis reminds me of Manager John Bond's son Kevin at Norwich. Constantly terrible as a full back but constantly in the line up and hardly ever played for any other Championship/EPL side if his father wasn't managing it...

Kind of surprised, that Stuart Taylor never got caped for England. I mean, he did keep a clean sheet in the Premiere League at least once. That should put him ahead of Paul Robinson. Or Joe Hart... Or Robert Green... Or Scott Carson... Or David James...
