This is honestly incredible. Basically a mash of As I Lay Daying, Killswitch, All That Remains. It's oddly reminiscent of Killrbuckeye somehow!

Maybe Im biased, but this was like the perfect 2000's metalcore song. Made me think about Unearth and Still Remains. This really needs some vocals on it.
I feel like there's too much lead guitar on this for vocals to be added, it would sound too busy. Maybe if he removed some of the leads this could be reworked into a song with vocals. Shady Cicada would sometimes do that if I remember correctly.

@@DbladeMedic that was my first thought, i'm not a massive fan of 2000's metalcore but I am a pretty big trivium fan.
Love those PS5 power chords. It just gives it a dark and emotional vibe. Bit Lorna Shore score like.
Only thing I have is, I wish the piano part stood more out, and guitar layers was pulled back. Now it sort of just drown out, when it could be a much more outlined part.
This really brings me back to the 2000s metalcore era and I am so happy that LeedleLee accepted the offer! This is an instant add to my playlists. LeedleLee, if you're reading this, you have insane songwriting abilities that a lot of bands even back then couldn't hold a candle to.
It's like it Bullet and A7X made a song together in 2006. I'm obsessed. ❤

That lead on the chorus is literally orgasmic. I pretty much levitated with that melody.

Nik's version is more my style as my taste for guitars and drums has only gotten heavier over the years. However, I grew up on Alternative, Nu Metal, and Metalcore music so the original version by LeedleLee triggers a very nostalgic response for me and I love that.
This reminds me of this small Russian metalcore band called catch the sun. Look up Nothing Lasts Forever by catch the sun. So good!

BROOOOOOOOO!!! THE SICKEST OF THE SICKEST!! If somehow we transported back in time to early 2000’s this could have EASILY been a charitable track on RADIO. I used to work in Sacramento at 98Rock and then later with KWOD 106.7 and I know about what HITS and what what doesn’t……this doesn’t just hit, it EXPLODES!! I’m floored at how good this came out and truly, I can’t even begin to imagine what might happen with a seriously killer vocal on it. Probably doesn’t need any singing, it would detract from the already apparent musical genius of it all……can’t wait to see/hear about any follow ups!! 🔥🔥🔥✊😎🔥🔥🔥💥👊😎💥🤓👍❤️❤️❤️❤️

So many things here, it’s like a mix of early BMFV tones, odd riffs like early Howard jones era killswitch, and big choruses and intricate little spicy guitar fills like ascend era Matt heafy and trivium(more specifically like light to flies kind of made me think of that)
Such a good song. Love instrumentals and this one goes hard and had it stuck in my head for hours.
The solo is legit killer.

Very good song! Good example of why the 00s style metal core is still my fav sound. Very heavy while keeping riff oriented grooves & melody. I agree with some other posts about this song could use some vocals and be fully completed. But even without sounds great

Oh man this song reminds me of Crow's Claw so much. Great friggin song. Has very similar vibes to the kind of instrumental metal that they put out. It's the kind of music where there's no lyrics but somehow the guitars feel like they're singing rather than just music for vocals.
