They canceled the last two days (Saturday and Sunday Sept 9 and 10), and the first night (Thursday Sept 7) went out at 6:40pm after severe weather. The only good day (Friday) wasn't so great either because they stopped the shuttles for like two hours because of a storm "in the area" that was a good 50 or so miles northeast of Alton, VA. And Blue Ridge Rock Fest was not so good the year before either (hours-long wait for the shuttles on repetition). Honestly, the best year was 2021 when they were in Danville, VA. At least then you didn't have to use the shuttles.
In the UK, there's a show called Naturewatch. You can work out what it's about. Back in the early 00s, one of the presenters managed to sneak in a bunch of The Cure song titles into his scripts.😂
