I love seeing Elizabeth’s journey going from opera singer and rock newbie to being comfortable enough to do a nightwish style with Nik.
I mean I feel like a Nightwish-style song is still very much in Elizabeth’s comfort zone as an opera singer.
@@Chev427BB Totally, its a perfect fit for her. Since she started to like metal and stuff, shes grown so much in music imo. The only thing in this song, i wish she had more...power? at certain parts. But its amazing as it is. They need to do more stuff together.

I love how the metal community has embraced Elizabeth since she began doing her reactions. Between her videos with Will Ramos and this, it's just wholesome AF.

I love how charismatic voice definitely just started as a regular vocal analyst for all music, but metal fans just kidnapped her attention saying "Yes, she is one of ours now"

Omg I just realised that as much as I have regularly watched The Charismatic Voice, I've never actually heard Elizabeth sing. This was phenomenal. You're both so talented and this song was so cool

If you really want to hear her sing, check out the video from when she competed in a very very high status competition for classical music in Belgium (Queen Elizabeth competition). She actually makes a review of it on her channel. The song was from a Mozart-opera and apparently one which is very hard to sing. The song was: "Martern aller Arten"
@@markusstutzmann8216 I agree, they both did fantastic, The song is good in its own right but a few things missing to call it Nightwish like. Elizabeth sounded beautiful but the vocals seemed way over processed (to be nightwish). Also with the vocals, Floor's range (low's to highs), her dynamics (quiet and loud) and her change of styles (grit to opera) usually found in every song is much more prominent than what was show in this song (not anyones fault, Floor is just a freak of nature). Lyrics were also too simple to be Tuomas level. The track was actually pretty close but a few things missing. Tuomas likes to put a lot of full stops, followed by a short Orchestra or Choir or solo vocal part before cranking it back up. He also manages to change the song entirely half way and bridge it so flawlessly that you feel its the same song but really it could have been two songs. I don't want to sound like I am criticizing their talent to do this because I'm not. But because this is labeled "how to right a Nightwish song" I feel compelled to give my feedback on what I felt is missing. Maybe A second attempt is in order. lol.

This video was very fun to edit, especially on the playthrough. I truly felt like a professional with multiple camera angles to choose from and many takes (for the red panda cameos) 🤣🤣

I love that Elizabeth and Will Ramos became best friends and she is fully branching out and immersing herself into this heavy, epic side of music.
I know symphonic metal isn't a favorite of Nik's but as a Nightwish fan I loved it. And Elizabeth's voice is gorgeous, giving off huge Tarja vibes. She'd be perfect for symphonic metal. Some band snap her up!

JESUS CHRIST, the chills I got when that Chorus hits... Elizabeth just needs a power metal band at this point, that was SOOOOOO GOOD. Obviously Nik killed the instrumetal but Elizabeth took it to ANOTHER LEVEL... Also, that Red Panda Onesie thing is great... 100/100 This was sooooo good.

Elizabeth has an absolutely ANGELIC voice! When it comes to female vocals I love deeper more opera esk singing over higher pitch singing.
Nice! That could’ve been on Once… wish it had a solo ( power metal roots) and a fat bass line (Marko was influential), but undeniably Nightwish!

What a treat to hear Elizabeth on a song like this. This gives me Tarja-Nightwish vibes so hard. She was my favorite Nightwish vocalist.

This is more like epica. This is surprisingly great, I love this kind of music. Very beautiful, people playing "metal" often forget it is about being wide open to all music, not making noise and screaming.

What I love the most about these vids is that all along the song building, you’re definitely able to hear the style of the band Nik’s trying to imitate, you expect it to sound like the band, but still, when the full song starts, you can’t help but thinking : « OMG THAT’S EXACTLY NIGHTWISH !!!! ».

I caught most of the stream making this song and it went completely smoothly nothing went sideways at any point no technical difficulties and no one in chat called it a Rammstein song everyone was very nice and supportive.
Elizabeth did a video a couple of years back "reacting" to herself performing an aria at a prestigious opera competition. Well worth the watch, if you want to understand how truly skilled she is!

Awesome! Elizabeth is fantastic. I used to not really like those music reaction videos because I felt they are boring but I somehow got to see a few of her videos and she is so insightful about vocals and music in general. Also she is genuinely a heartwarming personality and to be quite frank very charismatic :3
