Jesse: I restored an old English press. The adjustment bolt was 1/2 by 12 thread. Most American 1/2" bolts are 12X13. I searched all over the country to find 1/2 x 12 and, strange enough, found a set at local flea market.. If you have a friend that has a REALLY old set of taps and dies it may have one it it. I mean a 100 yeas or so set. good luck. Eric
Are the strippers adjustable or do you make a set for each different project
Hello, Nice video🙂 where can i find that fly press to buy one?
I'm working with an old fly press, or will be, in my shop. Any tooling recommendations or guides, or further demos would be appreciated!

Great vid. Thanks.
I do really have trouble reading the red text though. My only gripe.
How are you ensuring your slits are even with each other on opposite sides?
+Jesse Allan- Cold mark with 2 heavy center punch marks, top and bottom, to find location when hot. Adjust guide to one half the stock width.
How many tons is this fly press ? Thanks.
+Luiz Costa it is a #5, tonnage about 5 tons but the harder you pull the handle the harder it hits.
