Hi Svarog Performance I have same transmission but my is stucked in error P287B00, i tried several diagnostic tool to reset but it is still stucked. Can you give me some hint on this problem Thank you
Is there a way to tell by the dl501 adaptation values if it is wearing at a high rate? Like the zf 6 speed could tell you how far from stock they have moved to adapt to aging.
P286B Clutch contact pressure too high. P17D7 Electric pressure actuator 5 Monitoring circuitry - Electricity too high P17D6 Electric pressure actuator 4 Monitoring circuitry - Electricity too high Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
Absolutely yes ! You have to do actually first time when heat cycle at the first start on new clutch after 1 hour then drive the car 100 miles do it again / than drive car for 500 miles do it again / then launch the car 5 times and do it adaptation again and after this, perform others at every oil change to be just make sure it’s all good
VCDS software is free but you have to buy the adapter cable as it acts as a key to allow you to use the software. you have to order cable from Rosstech website. there are two options, the cheaper is about $500 and allow you to use VCDS on up to 3 cars and the full version allows you to use it on unlimited number of cars but costs like $1500-2000
How much did it cost to install the upgraded clutches? At what point do you think they need to be upgraded as far as the power at different stages (using apr as the example)
Labor around $2K+ If you having issue and clutch slips then yes I would recommend do performance clutches but OEM Clutch Pack should be good for 550WTQ
Hey Bud, I'm doing the mechatronics repair kit, which is just the wiring harness. Do i need to do this adaptation after? I think I need to do adaptation when changing the solenoids but not the repair kit harness? Also, will doing this delete my TCU tune? thx

Hi! I have 2009 Audi S4 (0B5 DL501) after i replacement the clutch plates and mechatronic repair kit, I have big slam and jerky when i take R or D while i standing. I do adaptation but i dont take test drive beacuse i dont know is it normal to jerk or no. I just need to go 100-200 kilometer and it will be good? Thank you!

Hi I'm trying this adaptation each time saying
Stop for shafty reason
Thank you! Now is my DL501 much better. (Basic settings + Adaption via vcds)
i realize I'm kind of randomly asking but do anybody know a good website to watch new tv shows online?

@Sonny Roy thank you, I went there and it seems to work :D I really appreciate it !
@Kaison Samson glad I could help :D

Do you know how to fix this code Torque Restriction due to Clutch Temperature

It is the same term between ‘basic setting’ and ‘calibration’??
Hello, I have a question whether you did the adaptation in the 0CK gearbox
Is there a way to tell by the dl501 adaptation values if it is wearing at a high rate? Like the zf 6 speed could tell you how far from stock they have moved to adapt to aging.
Great video. After adaptation how to drive the in D or manual
If you can help thanks
Hello. Do you now code for seccur Access for 02 adaptapion transmition??
Will this work with a tiptronic (torque converter) gearbox? I have an Audi A5 3.0 tdi tiptronic and wanting to reset the gearbox adaptations
I did a scan and got the following codes: P176B00 passive/sporadic
P17D600 passive/sporadic
P17D700 passive/sporadic
P286B00 active/static
P286B Clutch contact pressure too high.
P17D7 Electric pressure actuator 5 Monitoring circuitry - Electricity too high
P17D6 Electric pressure actuator 4 Monitoring circuitry - Electricity too high

Is the procedure the same for Audi A4 with STronic gearbox ? Thank you
Hi, should be the same it might be a slightly different option for adaptation
Do you recommend to do adaptation reset values after changing transmission oil on Audi S4 ZF 6spd automatic ?
Yes you can do that

Sorry Not sure about that ! Never work on ZF
Is This method can be used on Volkswagen Golf mk7 7 Speed DSG ?
VCDS works on all VW cars including other brands that are owned by VW such as audi, porsche, bentley, skoda etc.

No need to upgrade the clutch packs unless going bigger blower.
