Do not buy an Audi SQ7, I just got mine back after being stuck at the beach for 1 week and then 2 weeks in Huntsville. Pensacola Audi kept my car for a week and disconnected solenoid and reattached the same solenoid The overheating happened again when we got back to Huntsville AL. Huntsville Audi kept my car for 2 weeks for overheating and replaced the solenoid and a water pump. Thank goodness we did not break down on the interstate. Neither of the dealerships provided a loaner. A 2020 Audi with 35k miles should not be breaking down!

Hey, so my Q7 2017 has this error code with misfires in 3 cylinders, the check engine light is on, and the oil level is low. This is just 1 week after I changed the oil. Do you think this problem is causing a low oil level? Thanks.

Thanks for the video! I am following this video to replace the oil pump for my 2014 RS7 transmission and having hard time sourcing parts like one time use bolts, gaskets and seals etc. Where did you get your parts?

Have you replaced the solenoid yet? My SQ7 just did the same thing a few days ago. I started it up the day after it happened and drove it hard for a half hour with no warning lights. Maybe a faulty thermostat?

Hi, I had the exact same issue in my 2014 RS6 C7, I’ve done everything you’ve detailed in the video. I’m sure the timing is correct now. I’ve put engine back in car but still getting correlation fault and misfires. Could it be the camshaft timing adjustment valve? Thank you in advance! Had engine out twice now. Really need your expert advice!

U can removed with the down pipe but in ur case with the hydrolock no because the torque converted but with out removing the TC u just pull and raise and u good👍amazing video self explanatory I did manys 2.0 and 3.0 on audi more the 2.0

Hi! I have 2009 Audi S4 (0B5 DL501) after i replacement the clutch plates and mechatronic repair kit, I have big slam and jerky when i take R or D while i standing. I do adaptation but i dont take test drive beacuse i dont know is it normal to jerk or no. I just need to go 100-200 kilometer and it will be good? Thank you!

Took me about an hour to replace this sensor, no belts no ac compressor disassembly required. It is possible to access the sensor without disassembling anything. Car Audi a7 2017 3l supercharger. Also, thanks for the video, it was easier to understand where it is :)

For the old style solenoid that's sticking, the one that's welded together. You could try the following to clean it. Test resistance across the coils to ensure they're still good. Soak it with electrical contact cleaner, moving it manually through its range of motion until it's moving freely. Test coil resistance again to ensure cleaning hasn't damaged coating on coil wires. Try bench testing actuation. It's probably 12V. It's great to see a video like this. Aside from the electronic control module most of this should be simple electromechanical devices and pressure controls, so seals are likely the failure point.

I have 3 audis . B8.5 allroad , b8s4 , and b5 avant. I either want to completely swap the S4 powertrain into the allroad or 4.0t the Allroad, and drop the 3.0t in my b5. What I want to know is if the 4.0t engine mounts to the s4 tranny. I have seen a few manual swaps done , but cant seem to find any information on hardware and software .
