Annie “Holly” Woods I think we’re related from the Carolina’s I was born with the same birth name and always asked my parents why they couldn’t name me Holly😂. Amazing rock voice Holly! I bought this on cassette back in the day bc I became a fan of Canadian music through BTO, Triumph, April Wine, Headpins, Loverboy, and Bryan Adams. Canada knows how to rock!
1982 Prince George Bc Toronto & Headpins Dynamite Concert !! I still remember ... Holly and Darby Both have the Rock n Roll Raspy Vocals that should have gotten them both to have Worlwide Success True Rock and Roll Singers ❤️❤️
What a great song. Too bad their song What About Love didn't bring them the notoriety it brought Heart. Holly Woods! What a great name for a rock singer.
TORONTO had Strong LOCAL airplay but SADLY, they were NOT playing Much outside of their Native Canada. Their Singles are INCREDIBLE but THIS was not featured as One. Perhaps it Could Have Been? Thank You for Sharing This!
Exactly. For their 1985 album "heart" they also did a cover of "what about love". Written by guitarists Brian Allen & Sheron Alton in Toronto...! Toronto should have been huge becouse they where good musicans, songwriters and singers.
Holly Woods has got such an unbelievably powerful voice! It's been described as a "Take No Prisoners" fashion! On August 4 she's turning 70! Nevertheless, I absolutely love Toronto! They were an incredible band that unfortunately didn't get as good of recognition as they truly deserved! Toronto rocks! ~Dutch
Canadian bands never got the credit they deserved. Wow they are incredible to bust out and listen to nowadays.

Did you hear that Toronto's lead singer Holly Woods was beaten and robbed outside her home in South Carolina last week? It was awful news.
