Looked in my rear view to see a huge semi heading for my car, and in front a truck barreling toward my car or a telephone pole!!! I knew immediately Who was there protecting me. I've liked this song since it came out. And I've been a fan of TobyMac since the dctalk days. Something I noticed in the video this time that doesnt have anything to do with the song. The bad guy with the boom boom, exhibited proper and right trigger finger discipline in all but one scene that I caught, i.e his finger was stretched out along the slide as it should be but in that one scene, his finger was inside the trigger guard. Fortunately it was also pointed at the ground at the time. Not that it would've been loaded anyway, at least it shouldn't have been. But even unloaded, the safety rules still apply. When those rules arent followed is when accidents happen and there is no such thing as an accidental discharge, only negligent discharges, unless you are purposely firing at the range or during hunting, or those unfortunate things that happen sometimes in home/personal defence, or police officers or military doing their jobs.
I grew up in Los Angeles. I’ll never forget a youth event that was called EXTREME DAYS! At the time I was playing piano for the church and of course this was a youth event filled with fun! And of course preaching! This song takes me back SO MANY YEARS! Great memories
He was absolutely trying to jump on the nu metal bandwagon at the time. He's changed his style over the years to pretty much adapt to whatever is trendy / popular. Not hating on him, I was a fan as a kid - but his music doesn't really age well because of this, whereas dcTalk still sounds great and I'm not even really a Christian music listener anymore but their songs still hit.
Love this song. I even remember the Movie too. Every day a adventure, journey with challenges. But when trust God put your trust in him for his plan and purpose for your life. It worth it in his time.

Toby Mac has really mellowed out when you look back on what he used to be. I wish that he still made music like this. He should mix it up a little. Have some songs be insane metal like this and others be more mellow like songs such as eye on it

Wow, this comment is ancient, lol! I don’t really listen to Toby (or CCM in general) that often anymore. The last project of his I really had on rotation was This is Not a Test. A LOT has happened since then, including the death of Tru (RIP). But I do appreciate that he’s a very versatile artist and that even at almost 60 he’s still killing it. He’s never been afraid to experiment in a genre that can often be very limiting, and he’s always evolved his sound instead of just sticking to one thing. I do still like his older, rock-influenced, rap-influenced alt music the best!
