When I was a kid my dad bought the DvD version of one of the "Angel Wars" episode-movie things. I remember finding this video in the Special Features of the DvD and it became my favorite song as a kid.

Since you had an entire Childhood of Black Gospel maybe you can help me? l had an album uploaded to my computer when l was a preteen of the most Amazing Black Gospel group on earth (l do to say that lightly). Their songs were so stunning! Unfortunately my computer crashed and it was gone. The Album was called With A Passion and that was the name of the first song but for the life of me l cannot find it or uncover what their name was. l stupidly never thought to look. Perhaps you have heard of this group? l have searched everywhere but cannot find them. "Never know whatcha got til it's gone."
I really miss the old Tobymac. He's still awesome now, don't get me wrong. But his style and genre back then was so much more funk and rock. Now he's slipping into the mainstream pop sounding genre. ): Oh well, things can't stay the same forever I guess.

Honestly I think his sound is still the same. I stepped away from Christian music for about 10 yrs now and when I came back i was shocked to hear his "new sound" but somehow it still had his distinctive touch to it. I think what it is he evolves with each decade's new sound and still makes it his own. I think that's pretty awesome very few artist can do that. I'm back here listening to this song because of nostalgic reasons but I'm glad he's still around and doing what he loves and reaching each new younger generation. may God continue to bless and use him.

As a Christian, I can say that our music can get a little dry and repetitive, but the heart and the message are there, which is what really matters. Toby was always one of my favorites because of his transparency and his creativity, along with being willing to push the boundaries of traditional CCM a good bit. God bless.
Almost 20 years. I would have been 41 that summer, my new gf started dragging me to concerts. I was interested in a different genres but the first time I saw Toby in concert I fell in love. Well, a manly kind of love. 😆
When I was Christian I loved tobymac. I’m an atheist now but I still like his music. Obviously I may disagree with his lyrics sometimes but you can’t deny his songs sounds good and this music video is pretty cool.
I still remember the power of one when this album released. I was in a place of worry because my grandfather developed cancer, but even though he lost that fight the lord blessed me in having him see me turn 15. I’m 32 now and I still bawl thinking about the man that was more of a father than my own but he taught me that the lord will always be with me. I forget it from time to time but hearing these songs brings me back. I doubt anyone cares on this video but man I sang every word out loud and my kids came and asked me what music is this. I just smiled and told them it’s music that lifts me up and proceeded to pull out my bible.
