      @@MiningChamber - I realize this is an old posting but going back over my older 30 series cards and trying to squeak out ever bit of hash rate I can due to the LHR cards that have flooded our market! I’m finding that this video is more relevant for the community and noobs like me than ever before. I love the flow of your information and when I find I’m saturated with info that most miners know by heart I will jump back a few seconds and re-listen to your videos until I’ve captured your recommended setting profiles, apply and restart. I find myself becoming more knowledgeable and confident than ever. I know enough now that I’m really dangerous so let’s see how many bricks I can create today! 😂 no, thanks for providing these vids and keeping them within a time frame that’s livable. Cheers

    Cool video man. But FYI at 6:40 memory clock overclocking doesnt increase heat. Heat is directly proportional to voltage/power limit

    • @MiningChamber
      @MiningChamber  3 года назад +1

      Oh interesting, although with the 5700 xt and 5600 xt once I increase memory clock I see a relationship between the temps and the heat. So maybe GPU specific? Since the voltage plays a role with the core mainly not the memory chips but if we reduce the memory voltage then yes it will most likely have the higher impact on it. I will try to look more into it although let me know your thoughts!

    You no longer void your warranty by working on your card (even if it has a void sticker on it) in (North America) you may violate the terms if you send a card back with a modded bios, so always have the stck one handy if possible.

    • @MiningChamber
      @MiningChamber  3 года назад

      that is pretty good! I have not seen those OC settings before but I would say usually its adding 40 watts, but givin that you have 75w on the software I think you should be at 120-130 watts off the wall. Best way to check is with a meter for sure!

    I started mining about a year ago using my MSI RX 5700 OC card with flashes bios to RX 5700 and usually get around 54hash but after a couple of weeks my computer kept crashing. I’m assuming because this whole time my gpu was overclocked to the max so it was heating up. Your set up is more like undervolting/underclocking which makes sense for mining. What settings would you recommend for my GPU?

Should I bios mod them even if they’re OC version. Which position should I put the bios key in order to use it as is for mining? When you set in software like software it’s kinda like a limit (an offset)
      when you set in the miner batch file it is absolute MHz

    Question: You mentioned that some currencies are memory intensive while others are core speed intensive, etc. How do you know which currency is which so that you can set up accordingly?

      It's hard to really tell, just by others testing it and reading about algorithms maybe then you can dictate how to tell them apart but il also look into it!

      Research of the algorithm will tell you everything you need to know.. most the time
