You're one of those very few amazing content creators that are educating us in a very straight to the point manner, thanks dude
Love your videos. I feel like I know enough about all this that it would be stupid of me not to learn more and dive in. I'm watching your vids and rewatching them. Thank you for your content.
You have the best mining videos. I’ve learned so much from you. Picking up a 1080 ti tomorrow for my first rig. So excited to start mining
The silent blue screen part was hilarious! My friend and I were cracking up
Hahaha I actually got a bluescreen while editing so it inspired the idea 😅
i was laughing loud omg!
@@MiningChamber Let me help you invest your bitcoin
@@MiningChamber why is that blue screen happening?
What causes it?
@@amahovac These are the ones I know: Missing hardware drivers updates, Missing windows updates, RAM memory Overflow, Low HD space available.
You're one of those very few amazing content creators that are educating us in a very straight to the point manner, thanks mate...oh yes am using Windows OS/
I loved the part of your video when we saw your farm :) it’s amazing 🤩 very nice organization 😎
Hahah your awesome man
I am actually considering switching from Windows to HiveOS at the moment so perfect timing for me 😎 can’t wait to get to the end of the video, whenever I have something that I need an answer to, I always end up going to MC. Thank you so much for all this info and knowledge, it is very appreciated!!
Pleasure my friend! Good luck!
I started on HiveOS, and have not regretted it one moment. Just take your time to configure it correctly at the start, and it will be running forever without issues 👌👌
Windows will turn you into a 24/7 tech. You spend 12 hours a day fixing the OS problems. It is a HORRENDOUS mess.
@@FFE-js2zp Its true what said in his video... hiveos is far easy to manage
Nice video bro!! thanks for that! I am gonna go like you with the hiveOS!
You got me there with that BSOD screen! I Freaked out for a sec :)
man u r the best , blue screen got me for real
That’s what I been looking for a while
That BSOD stopped my heart for a second hahah. Nice
wow great videos dude, keep them coming!
Easily explained. Well done.
Welcome back guys
Thank you brother
Do you use Nvidia GPUs?
Thanks for the info!
Great explanation of the OS for a noob like me. I have the Gigabyte z97x-UD7 TH with a Corsair CX 750 PSU and a GeForce GT 740 2gb to start. It used to be my Hackintosh computer 😃
Nice video! You should make a video on how to get parts for a decent deal, given the prices of all these parts are through the roof right now!
Very clear, very informative, love the video, and the video editing is wow تسلم يا راقي

@@MiningChamber WOW YOU WRITE IT IN ARABIC
I think you should had talked about performance, user friendliness, and security.
OS for mining and Ubuntu works out of the box, but the security is under question. Mining OS look like a good target for hackers (either OS or website) and it's unknown how competent are the devs at patching the security problems (and they seems to have a lot of things that pose security risks). Ubuntu seems nice at first, but there is a lot of very questionable things going on (like integration with Amazon or overall company history)
Debian is way more stable and secure, but if you want to squeeze the performance to the full then use Arch and Gentoo.
Mainline Arch is not user friendly, but it allows you to run everything from terminal (without having any desktop environment or window manager) which means that you can squeeze the living crap out of your hardware. Gentoo will allow even more squeeze, but it's even harder to use.
My PC with arch sits idle at 2% cpu and 270 mb RAM, but could go as low as 1% and 200. Some people with Gentoo can get to 50 mb RAM usage (with functional desktop). I don't know much about mining and what miners look at, so I'm only talking from mini-maxing perspective
Great video will definently be waiting for t-rex miner
All time favorite RUclipsr about mining. When i got the video of you feel like i master thaat topic...😂😊😁.
😌😌
Watching 2 years later... still great video! 🙂👍👍🥂
Thankyou for such informative video
Always a pleasure
nice video I'm going to use liniux since I use it everyday anyway for work plus hate dealing with win 10 stuff
I'll be looking forward to your Ubuntu setup guide. Can you explore open source ways of having a HiveOS style management web interface? I'm OK with managing the rig with SSH but a web interface would be nice.
For sure! Il try to look into that ⛏️
this video is definitely gonna help me.
Thanks for the info.

Awesome Miner - you can lay the remote manager over Hive / Use it on windows and linux
Thank you brooo
good thing about T-rex is you can set the clock native to the miner, so even in Windows your settings wont reset. get rid of MSI AB.
Also if youhave a 3060 rig and want to automate at full hash it like myself, you are pretty much forced to use windows. I am going to experiment with some GPU monitoring reset switch and see if I can resolve the GPU crashing issues.
Really very educative
I am on HiveOS now. Super stable. Trying separate my AMD and Nvidia GPU’s per rig though. Try to get the most hashrate out of things.
Thanks for choosing us!
Hello!! Beginner Miner here!!
Found your video extremely useful!! A big Thumbs up!!
Manufacturing of Radeon VII discontinued in 2019, Right??
Or is it still possible to get a new one??
Hi, im from Russia, just start to discover the theme of mining, but i can say that u videos is the best one i can find on youtube. Thank u for u work, it really great!

Hi Mining Chamber. Great video as always. Since you are a very detailed person on making videos, you could make a video for ONDA D1800, for example, because there's no good videos about those riserless mobo`s anywhere. Greetings from Brazil, by the way. :)
Thank you very much! I will write that down ;)
Great 👍 video. Your videos are very educative, many thanks 🙏 for your time and effort on doing these videos. Personally i use Hive Os, very satisfied with it, but is good to know other alternatives.
Thank you! Glad they help!
Thanks for this video.

Good video you got me interested, How much you can make as having a 6 GPU rig or mining rig, and around what ball park you need to spend to be running, absolute beginner
how do you manage undervolting on hiveos? as far as i know you cant fix the voltage and frequency on the core for rtx 3080 or 3090 cards. Also you cant have data for memory junction temperature, you have to check it on windows to be sure...
I am using Hiveos on my main pc running on usb when I goto bed or at work then it will mine. Every hour I will get a discord notification on the gpu and everything else and its really nice to have when at work.
Nice video. I like your presentations. Soft voice and calming and very clear too. Excellent job
I appreciate it! Glad it isn't too annoying 🙏
I tried HiveOS but does not have automatic settings for overclocking as for example NiceHash, and when there are not too many templates available to copy the overclocking settings then, where would you go to find the exactly overclocking settings for your video card?
I have 2 rigs at the moment and I connected powersupplies that can take stock settings with the 20% rule for power. I use HiveOS. Because of that I use very little of each powersupply. Am I being too cautious?
Even though im one of the many uber salty and jelly dudes who cant buy a gpu for mining, I appreciate and love all the content you put out on it as it prepares for me for the day I can mine on a genuine rig.
Aww thank you I appreciate it! Hopefully soon you get a gpu at msrp 🙏
I tried to run a old pc with 2 Pcie splitter 1 to 4 in Windows but it only let me run a max of 5 GPUs. You think switching to Linux will resolve the issue of the limitations of the pcies lines? Ty
can you connect multiple rig from different location to hive os?
do you happen to have a video on how to update drivers on hive?
If I go Ubuntu do I have to configure every line every click and button settings to all the apps I install on it?
hi there, I have a question, I wanna build a rig, and I want to know what graphic card should I use, I can use 3 * GTX 1660 super, 3 * RX 6600 XT, or 2 * RX 5700 XT. which combination should I go? Tnx
Speaking of security, what's your opinion of the ledger nano wallet? I've been told it's one of the most secure wallets on market.
Thanks, love your content. I'm new in this game and your vids have done much in helping me along
nice Video!!!!
Hello, im new here, cool and very informative videos, thank you! I have a question about all these programs. My steps if i want to start mining are these: 1. I install Hive OS 2. I choose wallet 3. I choose a pool (etherminer for example) 4. I choose miner (T rex) 5. I overclock settings and i start mining? Is that right? And what is niechase its the same as Hive OS?
Today I am making my first rig and everything is going well but the graphics drivers are not installing properly. Everytime I finish installing it,this persists on the screen. Tried to restart the pc and checked the drivers nothing changed. Also tried to go to device manager to uninstall device and reboot. Any solutions?
what is the ideal overclock setting on hiveos?
Is there a limit to the amount of GPUs windows 10 can handle? Thanks!
I am buying building a 5x rtx 3080 and i want to use the hive os so do i need to pay for it or no ?
The issue with HiveOS is that it doesn't show vram temperatures, which is especially important if your rig is built with rtx 3090's..
Can you cover trusted store to buy from such as GPU?
Thanks for all your work
I do have a list of stores in miningchamber.com/stores hopefully that helps!
I love this guy so much.....
Love you too 💙
Addressing the Windows Update issues, I suggest you use Windows 10 Pro and set up some group policies to disable the automatic updates. Microsoft has made it a pain in the ass to control the updates, so I suggest you get an older version of Windows 10 like v1809, and just don't update the PC.
So all the softwares you showed work on Linux and windows or do some of them only work on one of them.
All the CLI applications I know do work with any Linux or windows OS yes!
What about GPU drivers in Linux, does that have any effect that there is no drivers regarding the Hash rate?
You have to have drivers installed so the gpu function properly. Flat out Ubuntu youl have to install drivers yourself for sure
Hi I am planning to build a small rig, just a question, Can i run 3 mining applications simultaneously with a single Gpu?
I have a tip for you if you need to use Windows. Get the Win 10 Enterprise LTSC N version. No feature updates just security, you can also pause them for 35 days instead of just 7. Server versions are also a good options but drivers can be tricky with some setups. The reason for windows on one of my rigs is I can't undervolt nvidia cards properly in Hive.
That is the goal in the new windows video, thank you ;)
Make a updated video on wallets and cashing out the money for beginners .
I’ve one rx6800 three 3060. With asus x99 MB. What do you think which OS should I use? I’m using nicehash on windows 10 now.
You need windows for the unlocked drivers. You can find them in the discord
You dont need drivers for multiple different graphics cards on HIve?
dude i want your advice, I am linux user and I have a gaming rig, I want to mine while I am not using my computer, I want to know, Is it a good idea to do that with a mining OS runing on a usb? I am lazy to install an ssd on my computer or doing the partition.
How would building a mining rig do for hashcat usage?
Sir I did as per your video on how to do mining on windows 10 but miner I used was trex but for some reason when I run the batch file I get 'no connection retry after 10 seconds' and then they loop.pls help
Double check your pool and port and internet connection
I just started mining ETH a few days ago. Is there a reason why theres a sudden shift on whattomine, saying all those "noname" coins like bloc are like 3x as profitable to mine as Ethereum right now?
hello.i want to know what is best motherboard and cpu for rx6800 gpu in mining.
This should help ruclips.net/video/hNqs3Fn8TNo/видео.html
Can i start with one GPU and add more over time
whats the best for 1. profit switching 2. auto start from power outages.
I want to put a second card in my system. Would it be more efficient to run both cards in sli or dualboot and run the second card on a dedicated os
I plan to still use the pc so i cant run something 100% dedicated
Does anyone know why am i getting that blue screen "Your pc ran into a problen and needs to restart. We are just collecting some error info, and then we ll restart for you".
This happens to me every other day.
i legit thought my pc bluescreened😂 my heart skipped a beat😂
Hi I got a 1660s, a 3060, a 2060, and a 970, is it advisable to use hive os or stay with Windows 10 mining with nicehash
Hi all are good options. Nicehash is very easy to use. hive os is very nice too but a small learning curve. I would advice mining rig on all GPUs apart from the 970, the electricity usage is very high. Dan.
@@DansTech hi, thks but nicehash just charge me more than 7% fee on a 0.001 btc transfer to my wallet
The overloading the psu tip at the end of the video sold me 200% while i was at 99% before then
😂😂
I run Linux on every single machine I have except my gaming/editing rig I recently built. I was a bit worried about having bleeding edge gpu support so Windows is installed running nicehash. My question is, is this safe long term? Idk why but I constantly feel paranoid doing anything on Windows. I just don't want to compromise my machine anymore. I just don't trust the gui, I need confirmation from the terminal.
Say something drastic did happen while in Windows, would I be able to live boot and install linux/erase disk from a clean PC on a clean USB or is there a chance it penetrates my actual hardware and I have to physically remove it?
I ma getting LA error in hiveos on connecting more than 3 GPU . I am using a Biostar tb360 btc pro motherboard
2 power supply 1*450w and 1*850 watt . And 3*Rtx 3060 ti LHR 1*RTX3060 and 2*Rtx 2060 . Only able to connect 3 GPU not able to connect more than 3 getting a LA error .
For a few cards 1-3, windows has a lower learning curve. But once you start to scale up (and you likely will), definitely Linux.
3:45 You gave me a heart attack!!!! BRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh and when will we be able to submit our overclocks to your website? I would love to submit my 3 different 3070 overclocks for other people to use
Working on something behind the scenes that will allow you to do that soon!
I was just looking for this. 3070 gigabyte gaming oc need good efficient sets for this
Guys after setting all this up
How do we connect it to computer or a screen and run all those software?
Anyone?
i have windows unregistered pro running 2 rigs and i awesome miner with remote agent and teamviewer to acess them all from my main pc. no issues
which software you are using?
What do you think about Chia coin? If it's a good project, I hope to watch your rig construction video
Looking forward to receiving your feedback
I actually am very interested about it! I'll be trying it for sure
Can I install HiveOS to a M2 and run it off that? I assume I can and that you just included that with SSD's but I'm genuinely not sure :/
Yes ! Just not sure how to actually flash it on there, you might need a m2 adapter to usb like for SATA with SSD
yes look up redpandamining video on the rebtech compact motherboard. He has a link in the description to a for msata or m2 to standard sata. make sure you are using a sata m.2 with cuts on both sides not nvme with only 1 cut.
Now I understand why it suddenly went from 104w to 149w, even though I hadn't touched the overclock settings.
Thought it was damn gremlins..
Is it possible to mine different currencies at the same time?
Yes ruclips.net/video/83KU1AE2kN0/видео.html
Had all kinds of issues with windows. One of my GPUs wouldn’t register. Move to HiveOS and all my problems disappeared.
Laughed at the blue screen part. Got me for a sec 👏🏼
:D
HiveOS is what I use. The best OS for mining full stop.
I'm thinking about building my first rig is rx 480 8 gb a good choice?
I would say aim for RTX 3000 series cards. Much more reliable for the future
@@MiningChamber thanks for reply
Which os can be used on nanopool?
Any of them
Honestly the best is HIVE OS in my opinion. Easily installs on a USB stick, very user friendly, easy to manage, easy to setup, easy to overclock, and they have an amazing app you can download on your phone to manage everything. You can even reboot the miner using the app and tweak OC settings easily with the app
Hello, waths is the os for one rig with 18 gpu ? Thanks
That depends on the motherboard. You can use any mining os
I have the Asus B250 Mining Expert, work with 18 AMD RX 570 GpU ?
there is old jargon from old stock exchanges " trading for living " , now the new one is " mining for living "
What's better ethos or mining os or Ubuntu for eth mining
This video is supposed to answer that for you. It is up to you and where you find your convenience. Ethos is also a mining OS, easier to setup. Ubuntu is free but can be complicated
