Hey kev, loving the content you post. I dont know if its just a updated jdm/audm thing but my manual 2023 gr86 has the eyesight system in it so i believe the 'auto only' version of the map light cover would also fit my car. These update part videos are really helpful. Keep up the great work🎉

Another awesome vid Kev!! I'm one of the ones that have been wanting a trunk light bar but as far as I can tell from some videos I've seen, the Alpharex trunk light bar has an issue with the trunk button to where it doesn't work. I'm interested to see your video when you install it and the results you get with the functionality of the button. Also not much has been said about how the light bar integrates with the OEM tails as far as fit and flow of the OEM design. If it's the kind where it will only look good paired with the Alpharex tails then it's a pass for me as I'm quite happy with the OEM tails.

Love this series! Im currently running the AlphaRex LED lighbar w/ oem tails on my GR86, however the trunk button is not working :( . In addition, Ive talked to 3 other owners that all dont have working trunk buttons. If you get yours to work, please let us know! Other than that, I love the AlphaRex lightbar 😎

Subscribed. I am currently deciding between a 24 wrx or 24 brz. I just drove a 23 base brz today. I will admit - they're pretty fun, but I need some more convincing. What do you like about owning a brz? From looks, performance, aftermarket support, why should I get one?
Is possible to better see if this beautiful light trunk bar perfectly match with oem tail lights? The chinese first product wasn't so good in terms of measures and match but this seems better, is right?

I really like the Renegade 4th brake light, except for the red running lights. Looks like the brake lights are on all the time. If those were optional, I would buy it.

I bought the new tail lights and was wondering when they would ship?
I wish the paddle shifter extend the bottom as well, coz for those who usually hold the steering wheel at the bottom part, its the bottom end that is too short, currently only Axis offering an extension that extended the bottom as well but man they cost like 230USD a set, thats kinda crazy for such a tiny thing.
Alpharex trunk LED unfortunately requires cutting the housing ribs away, and IIRC still sticks out quite a bit.

Do you have any plans to review the XForce 3" Varex valved catback exhaust system for the GR86/BRZ? I have been eyeing the exhaust for a while but I have not seen anyone do a proper review with good sound clips on the 2nd gen platform.

I'd imagine there would be some performance hit in terms of heat dissipation. Depending on your use case though (I.E. not tracking the car), then it'd be perfectly fine. Only real way to find out though is to, well, find out.
I'd be more interested in seeing a dyno and/or real world test for it to see how noticeable the performance difference is. The forums have shown that the performance difference between a dedicated cold air intake and just deleting the charcoal filter isn't that great (if at all all)..

Hi there! We do have a BIG MOUTH for the 2014-21 BRZ, and while we haven’t confirmed fitment on the 22+ BRZ quite yet, we’ve had several customers say they have been able to install with no issues!
If possible make a carbon fiber piece just like the oem gr forged set around the silver part for the shifter

How about the Racecompengineering Tarmac 2's? Have never heard you mention them, and I have them installed. They partnered with KW to develop a special set made for this platform. Was hoping to see the HIREV overlays on here, and I know I'm really annoying. Just would rather support you vs a sign shop that could cut some for me. Normally I'd do it msyelf, but I have double vision and shaky hands. Have you decided on FI? I'm waiting for the Harrop kit.

That air intake is the one ive been keeping my eye on to install on my gr86, but im worried that if it rains and it gets a little flooded it might be a huge issue.. does anyone here have it installed and can provide some feedback please (if you live on a city that rains and it gets a little flooded).
Have the Gruppe M ram intake which utilizes 2 front scoops that sit above/in front of the radiator similar to the one Kevin displays in this video, it is magnificent. No issues with driving in mild nor heavy rain. So would likely be no issues with this one either, driving through high level standing water would be ill advised, however there is likely a hole cut above the front scoop opening (nearer to top of radiator) to reduce vacuum pressure for anything that is heavier than air (reducing the possibility of suction / sucking up liquids). The Gruppe M has this, assume the one in video does as well for that very reason. @kikiin7

Hi there! Rain (and snow) do not adversely affect the engine once the BIG MOUTH is installed! We’re based in rainy South Florida ourselves, so we totally understand where you’re coming from!

Id choose mcs over ast suspension. They are true top of the line motorsport coilovers amd their founders have amazing history working at jrz and moton in the past. Mcs is much more affordable and can be customized to your liking. I was in this market and chose mcs over ast for this reason, plus a better customer support service reputation if you just scroll through forums
