Plus it strengthens the "be kind" part when one remembers that it *can* take a lot of courage to be kind when you don't feel like it or when others aren't kind to you. It sounds more like reminding yourself that you are resilient and should treat people as you yourself wish to be. Whereas "have courage and be kind" sounds like the two concepts are disconnected, and "be kind", when isolated from the reminder of a person's inner strength and bravery, feels wishy-washy and like it encourages a doormat-mentality, imo.

This scene is the only scene I can’t watch without crying. When I first saw this is theaters, I practically bawled my eyes out. And now when I see this I either shed a few tears or quietly sob. The kind and perfect mother didn’t even deserve this.
I was also crying in theaters. My mother lost her father when she was 12 and left my grandmother poor 😢 my mother is courageous and kind. We are now happy with one of the old family houses and a beautiful garden like in the movie and I will do whatever it takes to keep it thriving in the future ❤
