  • My first sea trial of a the 14' tourer from the Aquaplanet touring range.
I was out with Tom, the UK’s most qualified white water paddleboard coach. He specialises in offering bespoke coaching courses in White Water as well as Coastal & Flat Water. I learnt so much on this day and was soon cutting around the rocks on this amazing 14’ tourer.
    His website is westawayadventures.co.uk
Based on the sleek 14ft frame of the board that still holds the Bristol to London speed record, the Cuda has been re-shaped to maintain its smooth glide, but provide almost 40% more stability. This is the board for super-cruising and multi-day expeditions.
A long tapered bow with gentle nose rocker and flat tail profile deliver great glide so the energy from every stroke goes further. A hull shape ideal for open water paddling and sea exploration as well as river touring.
The 31-inch midsection flowing into a square stern gives superb stability even when fully loaded with kit, front and rear. The deep, full-width diamond camber deckpad will keep you comfortable and connected to the board on long paddles.
The hull combines our UCF fused layer structure with an enhanced Carbon PVC exoframe and carbon-toughened side rails for a stiff and responsive paddling platform that can absorb all kinds of rough treatment when out in the wild.
Extra touches for touring include double centre handles to help when carrying unevenly loaded and quick clip fittings on storage bungees for fast access and securing of your cargo.
Comes with a complete set of kit - including:
Flip-Pack Rucksack - Inverts into a weather-resistant daybag/deck bag with integrated paddle stashes, bottle holder and essentials pouch.
Packable, Powerful Hand Pump - Our touring spec. pump: way more compact but a third more capacity than a standard SUP pump. Triple action, dual chamber pumping up to 29psi.
Carbon FusionLite Paddle - Tough glass fibre/ABS blend blade for rugged paddling and a light strong floating carbon shaft. 3-piece for optimal portability.
2x 2.5” side fins, 1x 4.5” River fin and 1x 9" Centre fin - all removable via our LockFast Finboxes - configure your SUP for maximum control, speed or shallow water paddling in just seconds. Just press and click for a rock-solid fin connection with no bolts, pins or small parts.
    Deluxe leash and repair kit.

Board looks truly fantastic and I appreciate that you only take things that you think deserve a review and not every item they send you. For example, I get a lot of offers for hiking equipment, but I only take to do what I think my subscribers would benefit from and what is worth paying for. Your dedication is present here from the very beginning of the video! 👏

We’ll never sell out to the brands mate. Good gear only. I won’t even post a negative review, I do review things and decide not to post them if I don’t think my viewers will get any value from it. Thanks again. You finished filming the music video?

@ervinslens post production is my least favourite bit…I need to go to night school to learn some skills on this.

Great review video buddy. Really getting your skills dialled in on it. Might have to look at getting a tourer. 🤙🏼

Cheers Greg, I have avoided tourers as I like to dodge in and out of the rock pool gardens, Tom soon showed me that was still possible. Pricejof this one is so good too, £549 here in the uk.

@@TheOptimisticAdventurer pretty cheap board to be honest. I’ll be getting my van sorted first for future videos and then look at getting one for the summer
