No, never! Wish I could have afforded to see him live when he & I were young! Oh well, we are both old now & better late than never, 5th time seeing JB perform, Town Hall in NYC, Beacon Theater in NYC, Niagara Casino (worst sound), & 2x in Bethel Woods in NY (site of original Woodstock.) Took my family, too! Some of the Best shows I have ever been!
@@ellenmahony2457 Jackson is my favorite of any artist - ever. But I have to disagree - it was much easier to go to shows in the '70's when tickets were under $10 for great seats. I can't afford to go now - when I do - I end up sitting on the lawn at one of those kind of venues - and still $50 or so - Guess I've seen him maybe 10 or so times over the years. I saw CJB 11-11-21. Tampa My beloved hubby married 33 years departed this earth at 51 in 2008. He could play every Jackson song. We are both musicians playing guitar. Boy do I miss our harmonies and his lead guitar playing. I was truly blessed to share life with a great man and the period of time when the best music in my life was created and played to the reality of life's struggles. Up and down. I must of played this song Take it Easy in at least 3 bands. Altho our favorites were many, I would say, Before the Deluge and These Days were our truest killer songs. I come looking for CJB every night. It makes me feel in touch with my .beloved man that I miss so very much. It's 3:45 am right now, I'm in a nursing and rehab center. Recouping from knee replacement..Late for the Sky is one of my very best LPs. God Bless you all, and thanks ever sooo for keeping ME ALIVE. Love that song too. I`m Alive Jackson you have been a true gift in my life. Can't wait for you to come back to Clearwater or St Petersburg and do a SOLO show. Ruth Eckerfd Hall Mahaffey Theater. My 70 minutes worth of you , Nov.21 on the JT tour in Tampa was hardly enough. Recently caught Walls and Doors, what a great song I'm glad your Cuban friend asked you to translate and sing the N. American version. Your line up today are also gifts. I love everyone's style and contributions. I also love you and Bonnie Raitt when you get together and play some songs. My Opening Fairwell is one I'm learning now and changing to my E strings to D. And this song with Leslie now, I first saw you play it together at your house a very intimate setting and I kept thinking I wish It was me sitting next to you singing that beautiful song. Just thanks for being here every night I need a little extra strength to move forward in life without my beloved partner. Be well, I'm sending my heart to you all with many thanks for allll as a token of MY appreciation. I'm sending all my love and greatest thanks for keeping me Alive!. ✌️❤️🎶🎹🎸💞 May God Bless and keep you all safe.😘

Hello Brian. I am well this day. Hoping you are also. Jackson is coming back to Florida Aug 2nd. Solo show at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater. Just like I was hoping. Very intimate theater with perfect acoustics. I think they have a little over 2000 seats. He's just about sold out. Can't wait. Be well Brian. Thanks for your reply. ✌️ 🎸😊

Of all the artists I've followed since the 70s, Jackson Browne has been the most consistent at presenting amazing live performances. From the set list, quality of the bands, to the sound engineering, just wonderfully done.

Band pales compared to the orginal... Danny "Kootch" Kortchmar Guitar, David Lindley Lap Steel, Leland Sklar Bass, Russ Kunkel Drums and Craig Doerge Keyboards. Bob Glaub playing Bass here is a awesome replacement. Greg Leisz on lap steel is very talented but along with guitarist Val McCallum add too much country twang into the songs. Give me the originals even in their 70's They still bring it. BTW Kortchmar and Kunkel co wrote Tender Is The Night and Kortchmar co wrote Somebody's Baby along with JB Somebody'd Baby is JB's highest charting song.

His voice is just as good as in 1972 ( the Main Point ) his 1st in Bryn Mawr , thanks to WMMR in Philly .
If not better?
I saw him twice at the Main Point. It was a very special opportunity because it was up close and personal. I sure remember Ed Shockey with WMMR.
