Hey man, I am that guy that bought your old exhaust from you (the original one that came with your bike), fellow DIYer right here. When re-spraying them, I didnt get good results with vht primer and ceramic coating either, every time it would always end up cracking or getting some discoloration. I ended up following a buddys advice, I stripped down all the paint to bare metal again, sanded the pipes down, and sprayed bbq flat black high heat paint (the rust oleum one that has the picture of a grill on it, like $2 .99 on home depot) about 4 coats of it and pipes look amazing, no cracking, no discoloration either. Anyway, cant wait to see which exhaust you are getting, keep it up with your videos, been watching them since that day I met you.
I tried that on these as well. Lol. Got a few thing planned for Harley. Wait til you see.
I loved how they looked on my 2012 slim but I couldnt put my foot down at all after less than 10 min they burnt a whole through my pants leg boot an ankle not safe and I didnt rev bike up at stop light

have you tried the high heat paint from home depot? its for BBQ pits , cheap but works on exhaust pipes with the high temp . just a suggestion to try

Few bells wnd whistles just another way for harley to fuck is over for more cash for the same bike they all have the sa.e 883. Motor maybe a slim front end, wide front end its very minor differences
