Just before WWII my grandfather was working for the power company. He was low man on the totem pole. He was given the most beat up ugly truck as his to drive for the company. Funny thing though, he washed and scrubbed and kept that beat up old truck immaculate and as shiny as possible. None of his fellows did. They made fun of him. I have experienced a lot of "pain" in my ealy life, befor getting to know Jesus/GOD. Looking back, its only because I did things that went against GODs guidence. So for all those think that being a Christian is "boring", think again. I have vergiven others and myself for my past and I now have a happy and satisfying life, thanks to the grace of GOD.
Same here. All the bad things in my life was directly from rebelling against God. People tend to blame someone else but if we all take a closer look at to why things happened the way they did we would find that out decisions led to those painful situations. I was deserted by my mother at the age of 5, left with an emotionally unstable Dada, raped at the age of 14, a full on drug addict by the age of 17, and God still never left my side. Got pregnant at the age of 19, still on drugs, got clean by the age of 24, got married had 2 more kids and today looking back God used all my bad decisions and still gave me a better life. Even though I kicked and screamed all the way, He never stopped loving me. He's mercy and grace has never failed me.
God is building for Himself a powerful preacher in Martyn Iles. Having listened to a number of talks of his over the last year and a half I am convinced that he is and will continue to be a real warrior for our Lord.

We are the most judgmental to ourselves, but while we are ashamed of our past, we need to remember that God has removed our sins and cast them into the depths of the ocean. I feel like I can relate to Isaiah when he starts off by telling God, "Woe is me, for I am a man of unclean lips, and I live amongst a people of unclean lips." I think one of those Seraphim are going to use the tongs and pull out a lot of those glowing coals because there are a lot of us who can't seem to break the cycle of filthy speech. Billy Graham did not save you; the Holy Spirit did. People have been "saved by" a LOT of false prophets in fact -- but the Holy Spirit is NOT false and He knows if and when you are sincere! Later in his life Graham was saying CRAZY and untrue things that contradicted the Bible. I have not heard Martyn Iles do that (and hopefully he never will).

I’m tired of being shamed for feeling shame and guilt. I’m tired of being taken advantage of for being humble and forced to being a jerk just to protect myself.
If you are blameless, you will feel no shame and guilt. If you are a real christian or even a lovely decent person, you will always be taken advantage of on occasion. We are not forced to be a jerk. We have to be honest with God and man that sometimes we just fall short of what God desires of us. If we are honest we can ask God's help and forgiveness and we will then be blameless. We also need to make it right with man and admit that we reacted badly and that we are sorry.

He mentioned that Peterson stated to have faith and then to set out to get it done . I believe it was worth correcting since we truly need to depend on the power of Christ in us . …Without Him we can do nothing Scripture says . All things pertaining to faith are from Him, and through him and for Him . We tend to change the focus to ourselves if we are not careful
He is good at pointing out the errors that we have fallen into. He will motivate you on the journey towards fixing those errors, but his teachings won't get you to where you want to go.
This right here! All glory to God! So glad that there are voices like this to show us what is wrong with some in the conservative move. They are missing the Savior and are full of men's ideas about the God of the Bible. We still need them and must pray for them, but Martin clarifies the ideas they espouse and shows the error by rightly dividing the Word of Truth!

I cried when I saw him brace for impact when broaching the subject of gender.. such an evil taint that has affected us all with its blatant perversion of God’s creation
I would be happy to be a Martyr for Jesus and all that He represents. This world in this darkness and lawlessness is worthless completely to me. Meaning only exists in the light. Everything in the darkness is evil even what good deeds are done. In the light it is not the same. People may make mistakes and their foot may slip but it is resolvable. However if people commit to walk in darkness even what kindness is done becomes underpinned by vast amounts of cruelty. That’s the right hand the mark of the beast. If your pattern in this world is lawlessness what does goodness really mean then. The darkness spoils all of it. There is even leg room in the light for those errors not that we should frequently make them however the light isn’t as harsh about even the errors one might make.

I hope our Lord's Spirit comes to more people and turns this upside down world that we are living in the right way up again through Christ our Saviour. I don’t think it’s Christianity people have a problem with. It’s the forms of religion, and it’s the hypocrisy of the church leaders and it’s black magic mixing truth and lies. Jesus would likely be happy if people lived the Truth at their local bar or down the pub. We are the Temple of God. The Truth is so simple and it doesn’t have to interfere with peoples lives as much as they think and the Laws are there to improve their lives not make them worse. To give them more freedom not less freedom. A lot of people have horrible memories of priests too - sanctimonious, abusive and they made their lives a misery. Those priests are Pharisees and they are workers of evil and darkness and they belong to the devil as their fruits demonstrate in their lives. They are magicians they’re not true Christians. They are the legalists who tell you sit up at this moment and then sit down and then repeat the apostles creed by rote repetition even though the scriptures tell us that He will not hear our prayers if we are like the pagans who repeat things as nauseam repetitively. The Truth is simple. And it liberates.
Great talk. I think I'll need to get the book. One of the greatest lies we are told today is that "you are special". You are not special, you are Fearfully and Wonderfully made. The first has to do with what you feel in your heart, yet the heart is deceitful and I find I am the one that I find most difficult to be honest with. It also has to do with what people think of you and people are fickle. In contrast the one who made you did so for a purpose. When I know the maker I know my purpose. Thanks again for the talk.

See the thing is if people had integrity their truth would be a stepping stone to The Truth, the Eternal Truth. If they could be honest about the lives they are living and process the pain, the people who are betraying them everyday, the insincerity, and the disingenuousness of their friends and family and the abuse they have been through and the flaws of their own nature ‘my truth’ wouldn’t be so bad then. However if people tell lies as their truth then that’s going to lead them down a bad road. If they can submit to the moral standards and tenets and laws as prescribed by the Most High God and the Lord Jesus and implement this in their own lives that’s the essential thing.
Each of us is unique, and pride is a wicked sin. I am nothing without my Savior, who holds my right hand, and yours. No one else can hold everyone's right hand who welcomes Him. No one. Only the living Son of God, the Prince of perfect Peace. Seek Him. Thank Him. Follow Him. 📖 The Word. 🕊

Words ring hollow when relevance slides. Daniel in his day did not shy away from the controversial, that’s what made him a man of God. Will you do the same Martyn? With all the blessings given to you? It feels like global ‘pandemic’ 2.0, except now the public consciousness is overtaken by images of the murder of children, unarmed people cut down by a secular society hell bent on making ‘a nation’ in their own twisted image. And rather than calls for justice and goodness from leaders of (what should be) Christ’s true church, I hear (at best) deafening silence, at worst “we stand with gods chosen …” Yes you might think it’s unfair to be called out - but such is the path of leadership … there are moments when a rare opportunity presents and then it’s gone. And so much can be lost. Because of that rare moment. Daniel always knew his place exactly, it was on his knees praying to his God, with an *open window to the world* outside. When ppl talk about Jordan Peterson the way he does it just goes to show they missed the whole point. Jordan Peterson has helped me in so many ways get closer to God than any church has.
He mentioned that Peterson stated to have faith and then to set out to get it done . I believe it was worth correcting since we truly need to depend on the power of Christ in us . …Without Him we can do nothing Scripture says . All things pertaining to faith are from Him, and through him and for Him . We tend to change the focus to ourselves if we are not careful
some people don't have the capacity to go deep, most don't understand Jordan.
He is good at pointing out the errors that we have fallen into. He will motivate you on the journey towards fixing those errors, but his teachings won't get you to where you want to go.

They are missing the Savior and are full of men's ideas about the God of the Bible. We still need them and must pray for them, but Martin clarifies the ideas they espouse and shows the error by rightly dividing the Word of Truth!

This is an incredibly powerful sermon. Led to these teachings by the Spirit, I believe Christ thru Himself (WORD) has truly given this man a Godly perspective on life.

I would be happy to be a Martyr for Jesus and all that He represents. This world in this darkness and lawlessness is worthless completely to me. Meaning only exists in the light. Everything in the darkness is evil even what good deeds are done. In the light it is not the same. People may make mistakes and their foot may slip but it is resolvable. However if people commit to walk in darkness even what kindness is done becomes underpinned by vast amounts of cruelty. That’s the right hand the mark of the beast. If your pattern in this world is lawlessness what does goodness really mean then. The darkness spoils all of it. There is even leg room in the light for those errors not that we should frequently make them however the light isn’t as harsh about even the errors one might make.
What an absolutely inspirational speech Martin, the Spirit of God is certainly working through you.

History does repeat itself
I've always been turned off by Christianity and this video came up randomly while I was driving and this made the most sense I've heard in a long time. I'll keep listening. Who knows. Very interesting about Peterson wanting God on his terms. Very interesting.
I don’t think it’s Christianity people have a problem with. It’s the forms of religion, and it’s the hypocrisy of the church leaders and it’s black magic mixing truth and lies. Jesus would likely be happy if people lived the Truth at their local bar or down the pub. We are the Temple of God. The Truth is so simple and it doesn’t have to interfere with peoples lives as much as they think and the Laws are there to improve their lives not make them worse. To give them more freedom not less freedom. A lot of people have horrible memories of priests too - sanctimonious, abusive and they made their lives a misery. Those priests are Pharisees and they are workers of evil and darkness and they belong to the devil as their fruits demonstrate in their lives. They are magicians they’re not true Christians. They are the legalists who tell you sit up at this moment and then sit down and then repeat the apostles creed by rote repetition even though the scriptures tell us that He will not hear our prayers if we are like the pagans who repeat things as nauseam repetitively. The Truth is simple. And it liberates.
We must fight for a decent society

The first has to do with what you feel in your heart, yet the heart is deceitful and I find I am the one that I find most difficult to be honest with. It also has to do with what people think of you and people are fickle.
In contrast the one who made you did so for a purpose. When I know the maker I know my purpose.

Well said!!!! THE TRUTH! Too many people are getting off on the "My truth" crap. We all know that Jesus is The Truth. But in today's society and cultures it's all about the WII-FM station. (...the What's In It For Me attitude...)
See the thing is if people had integrity their truth would be a stepping stone to The Truth, the Eternal Truth. If they could be honest about the lives they are living and process the pain, the people who are betraying them everyday, the insincerity, and the disingenuousness of their friends and family and the abuse they have been through and the flaws of their own nature ‘my truth’ wouldn’t be so bad then. However if people tell lies as their truth then that’s going to lead them down a bad road. If they can submit to the moral standards and tenets and laws as prescribed by the Most High God and the Lord Jesus and implement this in their own lives that’s the essential thing.
Each of us is unique, and pride is a wicked sin. I am nothing without my Savior, who holds my right hand, and yours. No one else can hold everyone's right hand who welcomes Him. No one. Only the living Son of God, the Prince of perfect Peace. Seek Him. Thank Him. Follow Him. 📖 The Word. 🕊

While I respect your work and wisdom Martyn, it is difficult to listen to anyone today who cannot (or will not) acknowledge the evil happening in current day events. Words ring hollow when relevance slides. Daniel in his day did not shy away from the controversial, that’s what made him a man of God. Will you do the same Martyn? With all the blessings given to you?
It feels like global ‘pandemic’ 2.0, except now the public consciousness is overtaken by images of the murder of children, unarmed people cut down by a secular society hell bent on making ‘a nation’ in their own twisted image. And rather than calls for justice and goodness from leaders of (what should be) Christ’s true church, I hear (at best) deafening silence, at worst “we stand with gods chosen …” Yes you might think it’s unfair to be called out - but such is the path of leadership … there are moments when a rare opportunity presents and then it’s gone. And so much can be lost. Because of that rare moment. Daniel always knew his place exactly, it was on his knees praying to his God, with an *open window to the world* outside. Never ashamed to proclaim the truth and lay it all down for His God. No matter the cost or the consequences. I pray you will also be that man. God bless you. 🙏🏻🕊️
