Absolutely! I haven't been able to pinpoint what the huge difference was about Shane's videos vs many of the others. You're right, his entire focus is on the product. Good observation.
I bought the A71, and am waiting for it to be delivered. Simply because as an Aussie, that was the only one of these three phones available to me from a retailer I trust. That, and I was able to get a big staff discount and use a store credit gift my workplace gave every one of our employees. Watching this and other videos, while the A71 comes out worse in direct comparisons, it's really never by much, to the point where I likely wouldn't notice a real difference in day-to-day use.
Watching this on my S10 Lite, the screen is great the camera is great and also the battery life because it doesn't have power hunger display with only FHD resolution and 60hz but overall a pretty great experience especially in gaming.

My S10+ just died so I was researching exactly this 3 models as I don't really want to spend so much money on a flagship phone right now and this video helped me out a lot on deciding for the Note 10 Lite. Thank you very much!
i was surprised to find a video featuring these 3 devices at around this time now. im currently thinking about the galaxy s10+ (exynos in my region...) vs oneplus 7t pro but i was stoked about finding the s10 lite had an universal beefy snapdragon chip!!
In summary, all 3 models have 6.7" AMOLED FHD+ screens. s10 and note 10 lite have older flagship processors, SD855 & Exynos 9810 respectively. While the a71 has a newer mid-range processor - SD 730. Hardware wise, you would benefit the most from the note 10 lite - not only do you have 3.5mm jack (a71 does as well), you also have an s-pen found usually on the more expensive flagship note model. If you're a gamer or use your phone for productivity, go for s10 lite / a71. otherwise, the note 10 lite will serve you well.

THERE IS 1 REASON I CHOOSE THE A71 OVER THE NOTE 10 LITE AND THAT IS SNAPDRAGON , I CHOOSE SNAPDRAGON OVER EXYNOS , SAMSUNG PUT 2 OR 3 YEAR OLD PROCESSOR ON THE NOTE 10 LITE WHICH IS ACTUALLY DISAPPOINTING .... EVEN THE LATEST VERSION OF EXYNOS ( EXYNOS 990 ) HAS A LOTS OF PROBLEM ...

@@adeelahmed3860 after using the a71 for 2 days now, i have thrown everything you could possible throw at it and it took it perfectly and managed it perfectly as well, my only fear was that the processor would not handle heavy games, but low and behold it did, and it did it perfectly, i think this is the absolute the best smartphone under 400 dollars, but for longevity, since i can afford so, i would pay 50-70 dollars extra to get the snapdragon 855 on the s10 lite instead of the snapdragon 730 on my a71, but if you can't afford the s10 lite, trust me the a71 will pretty much be the same except for a super tiny difference in speed that you won't even notice unless you put both phones next to each other

@@zeroesandones4221 honestly the camera is perfectly satisfactory for the price, for regular photos and scenery photography, although coming from an iphone, i noticed the extra polishing that samsung phones do a lot, but you can minimize it by turning off beauty mode, and using the camera flash with your photos, all in all you'll be happy being that you paid under 400 dollars, as fpr comparison, my brother ordered an s10 lite, and i won't be able to say anything about it until he receives it and i can try out its camera, but either way if it's between the s10 lite and the a71, the s10 lite will have the better camera for sure, and the much superior last year flagship processor, so if you have more than 400 dollars, definitely go for the s10 lite
Coming from an S7 edge I'm looking for either of these three devices, with the addition of Huawei's Nova 7 series. What would you recommend out of the 4 phones? I'm looking for something that can last a couple of years; my S7 edge lasted for more than 2-3 years. TIA
@@ultrauday The S7 edge is still holding up pretty well with me so I think I'll wait it out until its dead. Perhaps then more options are released with improved specs. However if I had to pick one right now I assume it'll be the Note 10 lite.

Is the quality of the s10 lite's camera poor compared to the A71 and Note 10 Lite? I would like to buy the S10 lite but I have many doubts about the quality of the camera.
If the S10 Lite had a 3.5mm jack, it would have demolished anything in the market including the likes of Apples and OnePlus or anything from China. I would have bought the S10 Lite(still undecided because of the pricing here in India and the super cheap plastic build) if it had a 3.5mm jack. I absolutely hate bluetooth audio collars like a trained dog or the small wireless ones that are super costly and can vanish even faster. Now that the A71 has both plastic body and plastic frame, it is a REAL NO NO from my side. Plus they have priced it so high that if I add 5K INR to it, I can get SE 2020. Note 10 Lite feels the most cheap of all three of them and there are numerous onlines resellers like Flipkart, Amazon and even Samsung's own website where users have complained about it feeling really downgrade cheap. I am actually jealous of how cool the pricing is for the US market where it actually drops as the time goes by. Here, it stays in a weird zone all the time with no price drops to be seen. Plus, once the phone is bought, no return, no exchange, no refunds. This is a dangerous proposition. That's one of the reason why MI, RealMe, Oppo, Vivo have been so super successful here. You pay less and can drag any phone for 1-1.5 years and then no guilt of throwing it away.

Well, the S10 lite has no headphone jack, so I less spot for water to get in. Thanks!

Clear and joy to listen vocal. I just love this sort of interview, it's all about the products. Too many other RUclipsr wanna be a star too much, showing so many faces, pity majority is not that easy to watch. Funny is Shane has good looking but choices to concentrate on the products. Good work, I'm a fan now.

How many hours of on screen time do you have
@Joe Al Doesn't the S10 lite have the 855 SD? I thought that only the Note 10 lite has the Exynos chip.
@@fbiagent6744 in my experience i got 8 hours heavy use playing heavy games using social media watching youtube videos.
Snapdragon 730 and 855 are both from 2019.
Am I the only one who loved the shark animation wallpaper ???
I actually practised dancing like that shark !!
I guess Im the only one who did this... in the entire world !!
Exynos processors aren't power efficient when you really start pushing the phone. That's why I got the A71 for the snapdragon processors.
And exynos 9810 is based on 10nm..
It just cant compete with a snapdragon
@@TheJoker-kg9rd the A71s battery life is amazing.... and I used to have a Sony xperia xz3 had a snapdragon 845 and nothing I gave the phone it couldn't handle. A71 performance is similar without the battery drain. You don't even notice its a plastic back looks very very vwry similar to glass.
Samsung galaxy s10 lite I like it

Instead of the A71 I bought a S10+ for a bit more. The price of the S10+ has been dropping like a rock. Great phone with an amazing screen! Under 500 euro!
Yeah I recently got a S10+ in the $400s. Great device!

I think s10 lite is better than note 10 lite
Because s10 lite has a better camera with super steady and s10 and s10 lite has snapdragon 855 so I think s10 lite is the best
I heard "Prison Blue" and then realized it's "Prism Blue" :P

All these are great but I would rather buy a used Note 9 from Amazon since they are usually in pristine condition
This is the only snapdragon 855 International Samsung phone,so I would get this instead of the note9 with exynos.
Amazon renewed I'd suppose to have a great program. I think it's a good choice.
Note 9 cameras probably not as good. No headphone jack. Used, and batteries only last about 2-3 years, so battery may be about gone. Screen smaller. On the plus side: wireless charging which I truly love and would miss with these phones.

I should’ve watched this video before i bought my a71, i would’ve ordered the s10 lite 😔, that’s one reason to have post notifications on.
can you tell me why you're dissapointed with the a71? Im considering buying it due it's very low price and almost the same specs as that of note 10 lite.
@@adeelahmed3860 after using the a71 for 2 days now, i have thrown everything you could possible throw at it and it took it perfectly and managed it perfectly as well, my only fear was that the processor would not handle heavy games, but low and behold it did, and it did it perfectly, i think this is the absolute the best smartphone under 400 dollars, but for longevity, since i can afford so, i would pay 50-70 dollars extra to get the snapdragon 855 on the s10 lite instead of the snapdragon 730 on my a71, but if you can't afford the s10 lite, trust me the a71 will pretty much be the same except for a super tiny difference in speed that you won't even notice unless you put both phones next to each other
@@adeelahmed3860 in conclusion, i'm freaking ecstatic after actually using the phone coming from an iphone 6 plus, and i never regret buying it not one bit, and if you don't want to spend the extra money for the s10 lite, you will absolutely be contempt and even amazed by how much this phone can handle, i recommend this phone for anyone trying to spend sub 400 dollars on any phone
@@Alid2198 how is camera? i want to buy a71 but i m sceptical about its camera compared to s10 lite

Ps5 because it looks more cool and I will pick the cheaper iPhone with the oled display
All 3 are great phones....I purchased a A71 after watching your review and some others. A71 has everything that I need personally. S10 lite not having a HP jack was a deal breaker for me. Hi, tell me please wich is better for camera a71 or s10 lite? ???????????
I like glastic because it makes phones lighter
