I was also liking the bigger battery but you said it's only about an hour difference. So idk.. what do you think? I love my a51, I do. I think the only thing stopping me is that I am a phone case fanatic and I already have close to 70 cases for my phone. I need you to tell me no! Don't do it! Lol. Doesn't seem like too much of a difference besides the size which is my main reasoning for even considering it the upgrade. Also I'd have to start all over with cases. And omg what a waste of cases it would be for the a51. Gosh I'm torn
I owned both and can tell you the performance benefits in the A71 is really noticeable. To get the A51 to perform decently without much lag/stuttering I needed to disable Bixby Home, Reduce Animations in Settings, and increase animation speed to .5 in Developer Options. The A71 performs great even without doing any of that so I'm happy I switched even though the A71 has a noticeably bigger punch hole. Both phones are great for sure. Got the clear case with both btw

I had the a40 last year so I decided to go for the a51 this year and I love the phone it does everything that I need it to but buying it in the UK the didn't come with a screen protector or a case so not to good and it also has the exynos 9611 chip but I still really like the phone. It's fantastic for movies RUclips and social media and I also like the security face unlocked and finger print sensor which both do a great job 👍

I bought both A71 and A71 recently. A71 is clearly the winner and the better investment considering it has Snapdragon. It all comes down to the chipset. If you want a bigger battery with Snapdragon, consider the M51

I bought the exaxt same a51 as yours, i didn't have a screen protector, the headphones are not the same (they're not that good) i guess it's the same for the a71 as i live in belgium the packagings are really different from US/Canada btw the store told me it was a 6Gb ram version and i got the 4Gb but that's ok i don't do a lot of stuff on my phone no more

In my opinion, between the Samsung Galaxy A71 and Galaxy A51, the better cell phone is the Galaxy A71 for 5 reasons. First, the Samsung Galaxy A71 cell phone has a 0.2-inch screen bigger than the A51, it is the perfect size, I can see the big letters and manipulate it correctly, the Samsung A51 cell phone is not as big as the A71. Second, they both have the same charger input locations, headphones have fingerprint recognition and face unlock, both are very popular. Third, in the A71 cell phone I can take photos quickly and see the images very sharp and with strong colors it has a 64 megapixel camera, on the other hand the A51 has 48 megapixels, the A51 is not as sharp as the A71. Fourth, I can be with the A71 cell phone all day for example listening to loud music, doing homework, watching movies, playing games, and with many applications running and it does not heat up easily, the A51 is not as durable as the A71. After the updates, A51 can compete eye-to-eye with the A71 except with gaming. But everything else including battery life is amazing.
Had A51 but to slow and lag. Due to exnos proseser. A now have A71 and it's a lot better worth the extra $
