Darlin they are all the same age from the same litter. I wean them at 5 weeks old and keep them in there until they are between 10-12 weeks old. Then they are sold as pets or harvested for my customers. I actually do not raise them anymore but this is a working farm. These rabbits are all 11 weeks old. My breeders are spoiled rotten. But thank you for the comment. I’m well aware of how to raise rabbits. Take care and God bless

Mike! I think this is the second or 3rd time.ive come.across this video. Ik you don't raise rabbits anymore based off your other comments, but I just wanted to say ty for making this video. Ty for leaving it up even tho most of your comments seem.to be from people who want to.tell you your doing something wrong.
As someone who has had pet indoor rabbits as well as someone who's going to be raising meat rabbits, you have come.to.a solution here that no one else seems to meet imo.
Your giving these rabbits FRESH GRASS! And more than enough space to get in a binky. And no rabbit wants to be alone, they are colony Animals. Your keeping them off wires which can cause foot problems and the wooden slats, they could be thinner(as in from the ground up) maybe would be my only complaint, but if that's how "I" feel "I" can fix that myself and don't need to tell you how to "improve" your already much improved version of a rabbit tractor which is the BEST way I have seen to raise large numbers of rabbits as humanly as possible.
Just wanted to share some appreciation when I see its much lacking and also much deserved.

Kiara Keeper thank you. The rabbits are very happy in there and i would hang carrots and lettuce from the top as well so they would have to stand up and get them. Help keep them busy. Those are 1x2 so they aren’t very thick. Anything thinner and I feel they would chew them through a lot faster and cause possible escape problems

i am quite interested in this setup you made. on other videos they use wire at the bottom to keep predators out. have you had problems with predators and do they chew the wooden beams they walk on.

Le Roux Everson I do not use the wire as these wooden slats let the grass through for eating. No predator problems but we had a lot of guardian dogs on the property but this wire I used was very heavy gauged and would take a lot to get through it. Yes they chewed on the slats and about every other litter that went through i would replace a couple beams in it but that’s very cheap for the benefits of them

I hope you let them out sometimes for exercise they can't run in there please sir let them out for exercise

KatieLove they get exercise in the pens that is the point behind them. I like a lot better than a cage. Plus we would hang veggies from the top to stimulate them as well. This is one pen out of many. Let them rabbits out and you have a wild rabbit problem. When you raise this many rabbits plus lots of other farm animals there isn’t time in a day to take them out individually a Dan play with each of them. But I understand your concerns. In this video they are at there maximum size before being taken out and sold

mike griffin that's not enough room to run around plus the boards on the bottom make it hard for them to jump around it's awkward there's 4 of them that are grown in there, rabbits like to run around and get exercise yeah it is better than a cage, but every now and then can you put some bunkers up and let them run around in a free space? wouldn't you get claustrophobic and depressed being in the same place your whole life?? I'm sure you're a great owner and you love the little guys but please give them freedom to run around. Their God's little creatures that have feelings and their own personalities and by their natural habitat they run around a lot.
