  • This series is going to cover a fusion360 project come to life. This is a laser cut model of one of my early successful fusion360 projects. I thought it would be good for people who may have never built a wooden model before can my workflow as well as give seasoned veterans some ideas or gripes.
    Enjoy.

Could you please tell me what type/thickness/ply of plywood you suggest for the fuselage?
I’m going to start making a 3D fusion model of an Sig Kadet Mark II. I still have the plans from one I built in 1987.
I want to make an electric version with as much weight reduction as possible.
Thanks for your video series, it has helped me immensely.
Purchased a Neje Max 4 laser to make this a reality.

I use 1/8(3mm) Liteply (a trade name) or Poplar Light Ply or sometimes called bending ply. You can get it from nearly all the balsa suppliers.

Outstanding! How many hours of Fusion work was that kit? Can't wait to see the rest of the videos!

Now, it would take about 8-10 hours in fusion.
